- it’s probably going to be a flat ride
- needs to have a compact footprint
- should fill a hole in the park’s flat lineup
- ideally something that allows guests to observe the park from above
- that’s not quite like any other ride in the area
- made by an Italian manufacturer for added authenticity

You know what I would LOVE at BGW? A highly themed S&S launch tower (a-la Dr. Doom) in the DaVinci area. Imagine rising out of a candlelit room and a bunch of gears start turning before you launch? It may be too loud though and it’s a fever dream either way

Not really. If you look a ways back in the pantheon thread (or at least it’s development) you can see plans that were originally going to have Pantheon have WAY more than what we got.

I don't see the benefit at this point adding theming to it. The ride is perfectly fine. Spend that money on some flats or better food or someshit

It's not perfectly fine. It looks awful, it's a miserable place to be, and much of it is falling apart. Oh, also, the maintenance facilities are broadly non-functional too. Thankfully, current management agrees and wants to fix it.

They’ve also already had to go back and modify the maintenance area numerous times.

Great article! This made me LOL though.

Given that one of BGW’s sister parks, SeaWorld Orlando, just opened a new Mack Rides flying theater retrofitted into that park’s existing Wild Arctic simulator bays, it’s easy to imagine that, assuming SeaWorld Orlando’s Expedition Odyssey is a success, the same flying theater ride system could certainly find its way north in the years ahead.

BGW would at-least attach the ride sign safely, right? Right?

This, if it comes to fruition, is a fucking GENIUS move. Antique car rides are awesome rides that the whole family can enjoy.

Edit to add:
Not to mention, Blue Ridge Tollway at KD consistent draws some of the longest lines in that park due to everyone being able to ride it. Honestly couldn’t pick a better ride for this plot.
