Expanding into parking would be great long term, but first they will need to build garages to make up for it. That's really the only long term solution.
assuming they don't get dumb ideas and sell the land across the street next to SeaWorld Orlando HR... that's where the garages could go...

I wouldn't think 2027 to be a big SWO Capex year. BGT and Aquatica will do very substantial somethings and United will have some leeway to develop next steps at SWO. Whether that be fabled Kraken replacement or something else, who knows.

Highly unlikely for 2027, but I have always thought that the intense competition in Orlando could work in SWO's favor for an expansion of this stature.

I would rather see this at BGT tbh….

Like I said. With how much they’ve been working with Vekoma…I’m gonna say a Tilt Coaster here could be inevitable

SeaWorld is one of my home parks and I really think given the large number of families with small children that visit, the park should be more interested in adding family attractions. I haven't been since early 2024 but it often seemed that the high thrill rides would have relatively short lines, which makes me question the need for a high thrill capacity monster such as a Giga at this park. I know the park recently opened penguin trek but I really think at least one more large scale family coaster like the Gerstlauer airtime coaster would serve this park better. I mean, Mecaladon even looks like it was made for a SeaWorld park. Retiring Kumba and putting the Giga at BGT makes more sense IMO.

I always end up saying this for SWO every time, but a flat ride package (3-5 rides, family and maybe one thrill flat) are what this park needs more than anything. They have coasters and kiddie rides - family stuff in the middle is where they need to improve. The dark ride helps but I don't have super-high hopes for this, and a collection of well-themed flats is really what the park is missing.

I don’t even think BGT needs to retire Kumba to put in a Giga Coaster even.

Honestly you're right. The park has a severe lack of flats. A package spread through the park would really help flesh things out.

In a perfect world I would never want Kumba to go away. They could definitely fit the Giga without removing it. I just have a feeling that the park would pair the closing announcement of Kumba with the announcement of something big like this. They probably don't see Kumba worth the cost of rebuild due to the relatively low ridership.

Probably…..unfortunately

The Giga would still kick ass tho

They'd better not remove Kumba, that was one of my favorite rides at the park back in January 2022. I was able to get back in 2025 for IG, but thats beside the point lol.

I like the idea of a GateKeeper style wing coaster that the front gate, I'm not gonna lie. The rest of the ideas just seem out there. An indoor coaster also couldn't hurt.
