I suggest you look at the history of this thread and others in addition to reading the articles posted on the bgwfans (and kdfans if you're into it) sites.

Note the timestamps of when the first rumblings that something is coming occur vs when the park makes any official statements.

Also factor in where someone spent the time sifting through county and/or other permitting agency records, studied partial blueprints, documented survey markings related to the upcoming project when they visited the park, and/or followed various governmental proceedings to be able to develop credible theories, write articles, and even develop mock-up simulations of upcoming attractions long before public announcements were made by the park that anything was happening.

Not everything originates from a source with direct knowledge, but in many cases hunches are further corroborated and new details are added, some of which we get to see here when it's safe to mention it.

So while you may judge this forum as a waste of time as is your right, just know that there's a lot going on by some here to provide information, even if that means not every detail is publicly disclosed.

Remind me who you are
And you are…?

Nobody is required to share any info that they may have. You could choose to be grateful for what is shared if/when it’s shared, but being openly antagonistic for zero reason isn’t going to get you anywhere. If anything, it may make some less likely to share info.

You edited your comment. The admins can see what you originally wrote.

Yeah I made a joke about eating ass that I didn't think people would get so I removed it. I can bring it back for integrity's sake

Even when I came to this forum being a hater, I wasn't actually looking for something from the specific people I was fighting against, I was just doing too much to poorly defend my viewpoint. Ur tactics r weird and self-defeating. Also I love the edit function

Okay you make a good point but the fact that everyone is piling on and focusing so intently on my couple of posts really reinforces what I was saying all along...where is the info? They claim to have the info on this ride and future attractions at bgw. Is this all a waste of time? Probably, judging by the responses
If you can’t understand why he (and others) can’t immediately disseminate information then maybe slow your roll. They do it to protect sources, relationships, and the possibility of future information while they gather all the facts. It’s a professional courtesy and I’m sorry that conflicts with your “information NOW!!” desire but that’s how it is

I want to address two separate issues.

First, there are very good reasons that responsible people are careful about how and when they share sensitive information. Any source — human or otherwise — can be compromised if the data they provide are shared thoughtlessly.

For example, if only three people have access to certain information, then a leak becomes fairly easy to trace. People can (and have) lost their jobs because other sites have shared information without considering the risks. Similarly, a little-known website ceases to be useful, if the park figures out someone has found it.

So, absolutely, @Zachary ”withholds” information, if the source is nervous or if he determines that the risk to the source is too large. I would question the ethics of anyone who doesn’t handle leaks the same way. Forum members’ desires for updates or new project announcements do not outweigh the responsibility to protect sources and methods.

Second, I’m not sure what precipitated the criticisms of Forum moderation. No one is penalized for disagreeing with the Admins. There are posted rules designed to prevent aggression against other posters, but the intent is to maintain civil discourse not silence dissent. In fact, we have been criticized in the past for our free speech standards. Anyway, my point is that no one is getting “brownie points” for defending @Zachary and none of the Admins care what anyone posts, as long as they follow our rules.

Thank you for that Nicole. I just don't understand why I was attacked by Zachary with vulgarities by posting a fairly innocuous comment. I get that some may find my approach annoying but why are certain people targeted? Is it because i'm not towing the line? Not blindly praising so-called sources of information? I try to stick to the topics but when he is coming at me like that I tend to think his is a glass house and that maybe the questions are hitting too close to home? Like, why come after me? Is there not a more measured response?

Thank you for trying to be relevant my reacting to every single comment I make. Bravo

Someone on here knows more than they are letting on. Spill the beans! Not just for this attraction but also for 2028. Your credibility is on the line, Zachary and Horsesboy. Lots of filler no substance lately. Historically you guys have had more info by now. Why the delay?

I wouldn’t, personally, consider your post “innocuous.” Perhaps you intended it to be funny and the tone was lost? It comes across as fairly insulting and aggressive, however.

No one here is “targeted,” and we certainly are not looking for anyone to “toe the line” or for “blind praise.” As I already said, we do not care whether you agree with us. This is an Internet forum; the purpose is for people with differing opinions to debate park-related topics.

Additionally, I have noticed over the years that Forum members seem to like the environment we have created. What you have experienced is not anyone protecting an Admin, but it may be their defending the culture of the site, itself. You might want to recontexualize the responses you have seen from the group.

Ok, so I think this filthy troll can keep their change (hopefully you'll get the reference given the thread we're in); does anyone think there's going to be any major queue updates?

I feel like every iteration has used the same stone hallways with different decorations, which is fine, but it'd be interesting if they chose to do something completely different.

I also would hope regardless of what happens they keep the AC blasting.

Ok that's fair. Thank you for taking the time to provide some perspective. Not trying to piss anyone off. I'll take a step back and observe for a bit. Anxiously awaiting some updates though! And yes I do appreciate the effort that goes in to making this site worth visiting.

Desperate forum creepers:
"I want $10 Million dollars a year for the rest of my life."

Forum Moderators:
"Let me get this straight. You think that your moderators, some of the kindest, most knowledgeable people in the theme park information scene, are secretly vigilantes who spend their nights beating insiders to a pulp for BGW 2027 Plans with their bare hands... and your plan is to bitch about information flows to these people? Good luck." 😂

As much as I love seeing the Forum coming together to promote and defend our norms, I think we need to get back on topic. Some of the posts responding to @beenzbrobollox have slipped into a gray area and are approaching rules violations. Moreover the tone has gotten uncomfortably aggressive. @beenzbrobollox has de-escalated, so it is time to move on.

In that spirit, I’d like to address @Jonesta6’s comments about the queue.

Even if I thought they would be able to replace the current faux stone walls with something of comparable quality (spoiler, I don’t), I really like the way it looks inside. I think a lot can be done with sounds and lights to give the hallways a different feel. This attraction is clearly playing to the nostalgia of people who aren’t me (Team Questor), and changing the queue dramatically would run contrary to that goal. So, I would prefer that they spend their theming money elsewhere.

One of the best things about this location and ride system is the ability to place hundreds of guests in a conditioned environment away from the sun where you nearly forget where you are. The original Corkscrew Hill was magical the way the queue descended into something you'd never imagine is even located there judging only by walking up to the entrance.

I hope the park plays on the mystery of this aspect as much as possible.

I'm pretty sure two identical rides are being built and not just one. (For capacity reasons I assume) Same setup as it was before with the old simulators with one theater in each bay. Layout will likely be slightly different, which is why two rides being built would definitely be the right move.

I wouldn't be surprised to see seasonal overlays for the movie being played also. I think that would be great for Howl-o-Scream and Christmas Town.

I have also heard that there will still be 2 simulators.
