I believe that's the central support of the Flying Scooters ride.

Love the views from this tour! It appears have enough support pieces for the tower to construct at least the first "level", I guess they're (rightly) more focused on Barrels (which, btw, I LOVE the color scheme on!).
And still no sign of the last LSMs. It's been weeks, so, interesting we're still waiting on those to show up.

All the creators invited seem to be focused on using the word “Rising” in their posts too… (I was not invited, sad face.)

I wonder if that’s just because of the banner they put on the outside fence or if the name of the coaster has Rising in it?
I'd assume it's just the PR and scratch-my-back, scratch-your-back deal on all this access.

The banner mentions both Rising and Awakens, I wonder if it will be named for some kind of mythical creature.

Here’s the definitive proof that it isn’t technically Ka’s replacement, I know there’s been a lot of speculation about this:

20 reactions | Is the new coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure replacing kingda ka? We get answers! #kingdaka #phantomspire #rollercoaster #sixflagsgreatadventure #newjersey #themepark #rollercoasters #sixflags | TopThrill Brothers

Also… sort of a hint that something “big bad” will go there?
Nice to finally hear him explain it rather than just say 'this is not Kingda Ka's replacement.' Exactly what we've heard and figured. It was bought and planned for independent of Ka, and Ka coming down before this opened wasn't the original intention. It is the Ka replacement in scale, but it obviously isn't the Ka footprint replacement.

IMO, he didn't mean anything by the "big bad" wording about something going in on Ka's plot down the line. I think he was just saying it by way of referencing the big bad dearly departed King, not as a hint at anything. I don't think they probably know what they're putting there and/or on the Rolling Thunder plot just yet based on the market and tariffs, how much they've invested this year and next, etc, etc. They should wait a year or two to see what material prices look like, and to see how the park does attendance-wise after the Pier and Spire open.

I really don’t believe we will get a strata coaster or anything taller than phantom spire after. Project purple is definitely the Ka replacement…its extremely tall tower etc. Just because it’s not in the same plot of Ka…does not mean much. Yes, we can still get a great custom coaster in KA spot and it can in spirit be the replacement especially if they market it with the tiger theme. But in practice..yes project purple is the replacement to fill KA void and be similar for GP

A Vekoma tilt ("Steel Pier Diver"?) is probably coming 😉

Long time lurker, first time poster…

Although the name is almost guaranteed to be Phantom Spire, Cthulhu would be an imposing name and theme for this massive coaster even if half the guests would struggle with pronunciation.
Absolutely not. On top of the pronunciation issue that name is too demonic and full of connotations that no corporation wants to be associated with. There’s a difference between intimidating and satanic
