I saw this posted on Instagram. Can’t remember where. Shows the front angle of the now spiral
If I had to guess, it will be a pretty tight spiral at the top (vs a wider spiral) with an outer bank so you're essentially facing the ground (or sky) depending on which way you spin. I imagine you'll get some crazy hang time at this moment, before falling backwards down the spike.

With the way the top structure angles back out away from the park, it looks like there will be almost nothing below the track where it banks outward near the top. Brilliant move.
It's the little details, like this, that help make up for that missing 25-80 feet for me. At least give maximum effort to what they're building if it's "less than" its predecessor's extremes.

I agree! While doubtful it will happen, I'm still hoping for a hold brake at the top. Also judging by the amount of track that is left on the ground, I'd say we are looking at one full rotation and no more.

I think coliwood studios has just been a bit off on his height estimates. We were hearing 315 a few days ago and they’ve gone up a full tower section since then. From the remaining track we could easily get another 20-30 feet and there’s not really a reason to think the FAA filing would be incorrect.
Absolutely. Also remember the FAA filing is the maximum height of the completed structure, not just the track. If they have a support column, elevator shaft, or platform that sits above track level that counts to the FAA. If the structure isn't 375' we'll likely see an addendum to their initial height filing once complete.

if there’s 8 pieces of track left, these pieces are probably anywhere from. 12-15 feet long each.
With Wrapping around the tower, you’d need a roughly 5 foot elevation from one end of the track to the other for all 8 pieces to get this to 360 feet

I feel like they might do anywhere from 5-7 feet elevation gain on the angle of each remaining piece which would get it to 365-368 ball park

This makes it taller than Red Force. It’s perfectly feasible if the structure tops at 375 to get the track to 368-370 feet.
It needs to be at an angle anyway to slow it down and send the car back down with gravity anyway

I hope they market this as the “3rd tallest coaster on Earth” rather than “Tallest Shuttle Coaster” or something similar. There are so many coasters I think there’s nothing wrong with marketing Top 5 or so in a major category. Some will clown them for it, but it’ll get casuals talking about it

I assume they're going to push "Tallest and Fastest Spinning Coaster in the World" hard. Shuttle isn't really marketable since it doesn't mean much to broad audiences. I imagine the world's first inverted launch is going to be a major, secondary marketing point too. I can already imagine all of the (likely very effective) engagement bait we'll see built on that element.

3rd tallest coaster in the world seems mediocre for marketing though. GP would be like you replaced the world’s tallest coaster with something shorter? It may be better to distance this coaster from being compared to KA in marketing. I agree tallest fastest spinning coaster first upside down launch.. maybe tallest outer bank? Longest inversion? If this has a twist at the top it could be the tallest inversion in the world..I would love that…would add so much to the experience if you are hanging upside down 300 ft high with only a lap bar. But this seems like wishful thinking with only 8 pieces left but who knows?
