I'll admit I was a hater when I first saw the concept videos, as I've gotten older I'm not a huge fan of spinning coasters but I'm gonna reserve judgement until I actually get to ride. I just hope for my own sake it doesn't spin too wildly 🤢
I honestly thought the square-ish support structures in the concept art and videos were just ugly, although predictable it's nice to see Project Purple's support framework be visually appealing and dominant mimicking Ka.

Had this thought.. anyone else already feel bad about the future ops for the attraction? They're going to have to deal with so much cleanup, it's going to make Teacups' issues a joke. 🤢

h/t to Brandon Strouphauer posting on Great Adventure Connoisseurs for this pic. Cropped and zoomed. So, the curling around the tower is going to start turning to the right here about half-way up the tower. You can see here and in the image @MikeGS6789 shared above that the support for the track is on the right now-forking vertical support. Interesting. The tower is now about 225 feet. I think looking at the wide shots of where it is today that the track might simply do 1 1/2 to 2 full rotations around the narrowing tower up to the top. Some of the track pieces on-site curve pretty hard, so maybe it vertically goes round the first rotation then it goes tighter and less vertical on the second, which would also slow the train near the top and allow for fully sideways and inverted car spins at the top before rolling back down. They've got about 150' left to work with if the FAA filing is final and accurate.

Cleby Harris shared some distant photos of project purple from 6-16 and I absolutely love how huge this coaster is.
Totally irrelevant, but the sign in #2 still being there is so bizarre considering that strip mall’s been gone for like 5 years. The pizza wasn’t exactly what I’d consider good, but it really hit after a day at Hurricane Harbor.

IMG_3476.jpeg Is it just me, or does the one connection point I’ve marked with the arrow look like it’s going to kick back over the back side of the tower? I expected the back two supports to gently slope in until they eventually turned vertical, but I’m wondering if the side profile is going to end up being more of a slender “K”, with the current height being the narrowest part.

Could be something similar to what was on Ka's tower.
