According to Intamin, their Impulse coasters can come within 15' of the top of their spikes. I would assume Mack can do likewise. The launch stators are not just on/off and can be varied on the fly to hit a specific exit velocity. Hopefully we'll be let in on the expected capability with the announcement.

It's insane to think that I saw no outward banking track the last time I was in the park (Sunday), and with my next presumptive visit just 5 days later, I'll have missed the installation in its entirety. An extremely impressive, breakneck construction pace!

It's pretty cool that the completion of the trackwork coincided with the anniversary of the park's opening.

Project Purple officially announced to be 375ft tall
Source: Coaster Conquest
So officially "Project Gargantuan Vertical Spire of Purple Phantom Vengeance" is the third tallest roller coaster in the world and second tallest in the US. Red Force was the third tallest at 367', but about 10' of that is a support piece that extends above the track. Riders only get up to about 360.' With PP, riders will get within about 10' of the bumper by the looks of it, so say riders in the front cars get to about 365' or so. I'll take it. Don't think this design was ever going to touch 421' to pass TT2, and if that wasn't an option, 368' or 419', whatever above RF as long as we beat Ferrari. 😄

Visually, this coaster looks the same height of KA and GP won’t notice it’s shorter. KA would have lost tallest in the world record anyway and top thill 2 being taller does not matter that much all things considered. It’s the ride experience that will weigh more if this coaster is better. The outer bank just installed definitely makes this coaster look taller than it did a few days ago and love that last piece of track sticking up super high at such a bizarre angle.

Does anyone know the angle of that outer bank because some footage I seen, it appears slightly inverted like almost upside down.

I still will sit on it dont matter how high something is if the train that you are physically on doesnt reach it. Out of red force and this your physical body reaches higher on red force. Just like Tormenta falling only 280. Who cares if its 300ft tall. Gimme a 200ft height with a 300ft drop over a taller height.

You guys are asking all the wrong questions.

There is a platform and a ladder going up the spine. I don't see a ladder going to the ground.

I don't see an elevator or anywhere on the supports left for an elevator.

How the hell is anyone getting up there short of climbing the track?

How do you figure riders in the cars will be shorter than Red Force? Several feet of Red Force's height includes a piece of support that goes above the heads of riders in the cars by about 10.' So, they're experiencing about 357' of the 367' height. Even if the upper cars on Project Purple stop just short of that last section of track reaching 375,' most of the train is probably going to clear 360,' maybe the upper 2-3 cars touch 365.' ✌️
