Ryan is the PR rep this park has needed for decades. Passionate, down to earth, and seemingly genuinely optimistic about the future of the park.
We need a real, intrepid thoosie reporter on these tours who will bring a laser measure. Park marketing departments never expect the concealed laser measure. 😋
Shit, if I still lived in NJ…

Ryan is doing such a good job with the park PR. So much access to the project which hypes us all up. Feel like we’re part of the construction process. Hope I pass him at the park to thank him one day.
I saw him in the park today, but he was flocked by the vloggers, so I didn’t get a chance to say hi. He was put in the absolute impossible position of picking up the pieces of an absolute PR nightmare, and he seems to be doing pretty well.

Ryan, if you’re reading this, keep up the good work, we all appreciate you!

I was on the tour today. No announcement of stats, just that it’ll hold 5 world records. No announcement date set yet either, lots of moving parts

How does one gain access to these tours? I have a laser measure

I know that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but damn that stall might be the ugliest coaster element I've ever seen. Too many supports and it's way too drawn out and flat. Again, I know ride experience matters more, but still.
I thought it had too many supports too in pictures, but it looks better in person, and you also have to consider for the pull up and pull out that these trains are super heavy, and they’ll be traveling at giga coaster speeds.

A few more closeups, Mr. Deville, via ACE NJ.....and you know, looking at the shape of the inversion hump and thinking of the tower, they could go Loch Ness/sea monster with this ride theme, too. 😉😜

Obviously the scale is very different but I do think it would've looked nice to see something like this structure on Palindrome, even if just for the central span of the stall:
aaidave

If we ever see the path under the stall materialize it'll kill me that that central support makes it impossible to make that symmetrical/put the path under the apex of the stall (though the curve already does that)

I definitely don't disagree, I think Steel Curtain is gorgeous as well. It's not an interest in minimalism as much an interest in anything other than default NL2 staple supports, though I know there wasn't time or money for stylization because there wasn't enough time or money to make a marketable full-circuit coaster or even a shuttle with independently moving loading platforms

I was looking at a video of ride to happiness and noticed the track shape looks slightly different than phantom spire. Maybe it’s just difficult to compare watching a video. But it looked more narrow and Phantom Spire looks wider. Looking at other Mack coasters, I noticed this Mack track looks more similar to what currently being built.

Yep, the stall is much uglier than Ka's airtime hill. The supports on the airtime hill have much better spacing and the curve is a lot more satisfying to look at. The stall looks like something I'd build in Planet Coaster 2 because I'm not good with custom supports.

I'm not saying that it isn't necessary for ride forces or anything, but as somebody that loves to photograph coasters (the sheer amount of photos I've taken of Orion and Hyperia is embarrassing) I won't be taking many of that stall. Maybe it's better in person though.

Fair enough. The staple supports are definitely a less clean look. IMO it does look better in person. Depends on where you're looking at it from how flattering or unflattering it is.

It's sorta nuts that we still have about a year before this thing opens. Presumably we'll see testing before the end of this season? Next off-season is gonna be brutal though. Think this thread hits 300 pages before guests get to ride?
I still think there's a chance, maybe small because it's dependent on things going according to schedule the rest of this season, that Ryan has the influencers being the first riders in November and getting that PR and first POVs out to build hype for the March park re-opening and ride debut to the public.
