News Project 2027/Purple: Delayed “World Record Breaking Coaster" (Phantom Spire?)

The shipment from the 2nd was 17k KG and the most recent shipment, the one from the 5th, was 15k KG. The previous shipments were each 40k KG if that answers your question.
Making an assumption that this is a Mack, we know it's going to be great, right? Have they produced any duds with anything recent? I'm not recalling anything they have done that's sub-par, and if Stardust Racers is their latest product (and I do like Curse of the Werewolf, short as it is), then that was a home run x 2.
So what do we think the mystery project 2026 is for the boardwalk? I am hoping we can some flat rides this season. Any new ride this year would be a great surprise! Also I am excited for new entertainment offerings with the new stage by fountain!
I mean the other ride that has been specifically mentioned in the survey from Six Flags was a drop tower. But could just as easily be a flat ride from another park they'll bring in.

That would be awesome if they would build a drop tower to open along with this coaster at same time. It’s probably too late for this year though. I can see a flat ride package opening up this summer if we get lucky and would be great outlook for this parks future if it going to happen.
A portion of that area is also where the 2027 ride station is going though right? So I do agree we could be looking at a drop tower or some other flat ride with a smaller footprint. But I do find it odd that if it’s a new attraction they wouldn’t have announced it by now, especially with the recent press release related to the new season pass format where they listed out all the new rides for each park in each region.
Yea some is the 2027 station. The picture just says improvements, so it might not be a new ride but just making the area look nicer. Maybe a new second entrance to the park?

2026 is going to be another transition year with the assumption that the Mack Extreme Spinner is coming in 2027. Honestly that's fine with me, more time to prepare the park for that influx of guests so that you keep them coming back. The log flume announcement is moreso just to calm fears that it would be next, which is needed because locals have PTSD after 2024. All of these announcements are positives and proof that Six Flags is invested in this property.

Yes, they have only trademarked one name. The last time I saw an alternative name trademarked was before Orion was announced. I just watched Coliwood's video of the conference, and from how they're talking about it I don't think this 2026 boardwalk project will be a new ride. I'm guessing that it's mostly a beautification project (there was a lot of emphasis on them replacing the blacktop), and I wouldn't be surprised if the unannounced mystery part of the project is the Superman retheme.
Also I'm gonna guess he's not serious, but at 24:55 Ryan said "Project 2027 will be a full circuit ride, stay tuned". Like I said I'm pretty sure he wasn't serious, but I thought that plus his comments about the track length in his interview with @Coaster Chall is a bit odd.

I thought he was repeating the audience member's question. I think he said "Will project 2027 be a full circuit ride? Stay tuned"
Agreed. They'll announce soon, it seems. His answer here I think is literally a placeholder in lieu of the news and there was no wink-and-nod to the point of the question that I saw or heard. The only grey area that's come out of this was what @wasteman pointed out about the interview earlier this week when Ryan used the words "track length" about the record length of the new coaster. Maybe the announcement is coming so soon there's no need to say anything more between now and then. But that seems like a blunder when talking to coaster enthusiasts, as he was in the video, who know that term means something specific. Nothing on the ground we've seen so far indicates the ride is NOT a shuttle. If it turns out to somehow be full-circuit, it'd be a nice surprise.
SWSA just went from "first footer dug out" to "testing the ride" in around 5 months with Barracuda Strike. This ride is still over a year away from the targeted opening date. Anything can happen.
