I took the images from ETRs video and lined them up to give a somewhat better visual representation of what the ride might look like. It's not entirely accurate due to the station and tower photos not being taken from the top down, but I think it can serve as a decent mockup to show what the final product could end up being
Mock up.png
Your mock up bares a striking resemblance to the A-Bomb. Just sayin...

But seriously, thank you so much for piecing this together. I was thinking about doing the same thing but just didn't want to take the time. Thank you for being the one to "take the time". Hopefully rather than an "A-Bomb" or an "F-Bomb" this new ride is going to be "Da-Bomb"! It looks cool if what we see in the mock up turns out to be the real thing. I love the idea of there being three launches with turns rather than just a straight line leading to the main tower. Also a Mr. Freeze style transfer track would be genius and highly efficient.

I figured someone would point out that my cutout looked like something else, cutouts can resemble anything really lmao. But yeah, I was glad to do it since I find it fun, plus I'm super invested in this new ride (it'll be relied upon to help pull the park out of it's slump, so hopefully it'll be good). I wanted to do it yesterday but never got around to it, I'm glad you like it!

Ryan did a great job illustrating the coaster. I was going to make a post on this yesterday, but given the current markings we have on the ground, I’m leaning towards the coaster going into the tower straight out of the stall (I.e. not turning into the Ka plot). I do think the current setup of the construction fences say otherwise, but based on the markings, I think this is my leading possibility for now. But of course, I could be wrong.

It kinda baffles me why they wait so long to announce anything. Americans are generally attributed with impatience and attention spans of tomato plants. Not to mention revenue is down for six flags so it seems logical they would need to do something drastic to keep the intrigue alive.

Idk maybe I’m wrong and that’s why I’m not in marketing

I think low attention span, though, is why it probably isn't a good idea to announce things too soon.
If they start advertising it now, it will be old news by the time the ride actually opens. People (the general public, not diehard enthusiasts) will have either forgotten about it by then, or they'll be thinking, "Didn't that open last year? Don't they have anything new for this year?"
And most people won't plan a trip a year in advance.

But if they wait and start advertising it closer to when the ride will actually be opening, people will see it as more tangible and will be more excited to plan a trip to ride it.

(Admittedly, I'm no expert on marketing, either, I'm just speculating.)

I really hope that they have a small 2026 project of some kind to announce in the coming weeks. SFGAdv desperately needs something to sell yesterday.
Bare minimum, they need to be inheriting some flats and hopefully Ragin’ Cajun from SFA. Flying Carousel, SteamWhirler, and maybe even Voodoo Drop (doubtful given its age and the fact that Carowinds just removed an equally old Intamin drop tower) would do wonders for the park. Shipwreck Falls is also unlikely but not out of the question having just been refurbished.

also, what about penguin's blizzard river?

Personally, it doesn’t feel like a ride that really belongs in a dry park. I’d also rather two parks get one water ride each than Great Adventure get two.

I did initially consider it for the Batman Stunt Arena plot, but I’ve also accepted at this point that the arena likely still exists at least partially to hide the backstage area visible from Nitro from ground level view.

There’s supposedly construction going on over where Dare Devil Dive once stood, so I’m going to assume that if we get Ragin Cajun it’ll be going there. I’m surprised nobody has made a video on what’s been happening there though, I guess it’s a combination of everyone focusing on the Ka replacement and not being able to get a good look at that area unless you’re on the ferris wheel.

Penguin's Blizzard River is more a spinning ride than a water ride and if anything they need more wetness in the dry park. Shipwreck Falls does soak you but half the ride is the pool which isn't being moved. Maybe part of the reason the rides have been worked on though is the consideration of moving them.

As to the curve in new footer layout, I think it will curve back in the opposite direction parallel to Ka's plot not into it, a stall is just a modified corkscrew after all.

Just a thought, but with the ACE event happening at Great Adventure on Saturday that includes the tour of the construction site, could something major or at least significant happen on said site? I feel like giving dozens of people a tour of a handful of holes and footers isn’t that much of an exciting thing and it seems like it would just be a waste of time. Maybe this week something big will be done? Perhaps all the footers being at least dug or maybe even (fingers crossed) track/supports arriving on site? I guess we’ll have to see but hopefully it’s more than just half completed footers like I mentioned earlier.

The ACE tour of the site does seem stupidly pointless right now unless they are gonna hide a easter egg of somesort. We all can clearly see what they will see already. With overhead pics and looking over the fence.

I think the issue is that this tour was planned and confirmed to happen before GAdv announced that the ride would be delayed.

This is either the parks fault, corporates fault, or both.

If the ride delay was truly a last minute decision (as in was decided a couple days before it was announced) then I hardly trust SF going forward
