I still do think that a B&M giga makes the most sense for this replacement if the plans actually did change, but my money is still on it being the Mack spinner.
If they want to add a giga, this is really their only opportunity to do so. There’s no other part of the park that has that much space for it without interfering with the safari/savannah sunset.

It would look great when driving into the park, and really add into it, but the GP side of things would be bad, we just lost a launch coaster, and we already have Nitro, most guests would think of it just as ‘another taller Nitro’, and this isn’t what the park needs.

I don't think this is much of an issue, they've clearly seen success in putting B&M giga's in parks that already have B&M hypers. I think especially if they get one that's more like Fury where it stays pretty low to the ground and focuses purely on speed it'll be completely fine.

I actually think it would play really well to the GP. Nitro is probably the most popular coaster in the park...so I think telling them theyre getting a ride like Nitro but bigger would excite people.

Ive always thought the B&M giga made the most sense for that reason. Its also a reliable and high capacity ride.

Made an account just to say this, but I dont think a B&M giga is whats going to happen. There are electrical markers throughout the entire park (under Batman, in front of Golden Kingdom's Boardwalk Entrance, by the lake, etc.) They are most definitely upgrading their electrical infrastructure to handle a very power hungry ride, which isnt surprising given the power problems the park has encountered in the past. We are most definitely looking at a launch coaster, the question is the manufacterer.

Improving the kids area(s) is historically something GA has done after poor seasons like this one as they rebuild the next year. Once again, NEEDED improvements in the park after years of deterioration.

The following season focuses on big thrills— see 1987-1988-1989

87- accidents, riots, bad PR, poor attendance
88- Bugs Bunny Land and Condor
89- GASM (record breaker)

I remember the second leading rumor during the JDC year on the GAH forums was a new kids area.

People are going to absolutely despise this idea but I could seriously see that being what replaces the GL plot of land.

i’m thinking part of the golden kingdom, like where balin’s jungleland was

shows footers in a formation that doesn’t really seem to resemble what you’d expect from a shuttle coaster.
Yeah, this is odd.. I assume this would be the dual station area, but the placement is also interesting. From this angle you can see the two light poles here:

With these poles circled in red here, I believe this places the sightline here (yellow line), which would then place these footers somewhere in the teal area. Admittedly difficult to align the individual footers to see a ride path, so I'll let someone else attempt that or wait for someone to do a drone update.
