this could very well be part of the toro project, but still exciting
Isn't this the same person that originally started the whole 2026 project being delayed rumor?

The mack spinner seems interesting but delaying the coaster for a year is absolutely fine in my mind if they're giving Ka a truly worthy replacement instead.

I'm still going to assume that this is Toro track until something comes out that says otherwise

Just did a little look through the website and it looks like SFGA got multiple shipments from intamin. Could definitely be for toro but who knows. Looks like they received 5 shipments in total.
So they were sent out in early to mid May. I remember hearing something about parts for Toro showing up at the arena. Anyone remember when that was?

edit: The different description names are also kind of interesting. Why title two Proj sfga and the others something different? Could mean absolutely nothing but who knows

It's also worth mentioning that if the Toro retrack project is starting next year and spanning to 2027 (iirc) wouldn't it make more sense to send those parts in next year?

Main point seems to be that the Mack Shuttle Strata Spinner is still the plan—but there is a delay—we just don't know how much of one yet.

Someone in the comments is claiming that they’re trying to extend the FAA height limit to 700ft for the park LOL

I have heard otherwise.

Its for Toro, those shipments are from May and the track is already in the arena by Medusa.
Toro shipments would be delivered by Cordes Holzbau, not Intamin.

At this point, I want the new coaster to be postponed to 2027 so they can do it correctly and actually justify tearing down Ka
The Boardwalk and the area by El Toro really feel desolate this year and if they focused on filing some of those areas up first (SFA hand me downs or Zamperla flat package?) while we wait for a better coaster (read: full-circuit record breaking coaster), I don't think I'd mind.

If the ride is truly delayed they cannot sit on their hands next season. The park needs something to promote for 2026 and staying quiet will not help things.

I’d agree. If it ends up being something record breaking and so incredible that it makes Ka look lame. Then yeah, I’d be willing to wait til 2027

Let’s be realistic, that’s not going to happen. The fact that we’re supposed to get another 400 foot coaster is astounding in the current climate the company is in. Only realistic option that might do that is a B&M giga, and even with that there would always be a group that would complain that it’s not as tall as Ka.

I know you didn’t say this yourself but the amount of people expecting a Falcons Flight is ridiculous. It’s not a reasonable investment for a company that’s actually trying to make money.

Crazy idea: What if one of the records is something like a stack of three interlocked loops? That has to be cheaper than building 400 feet tall again.
