I wonder how much of the new coaster description is just blueskying to shut up the rumors.
Make it "Surf Coaster" and it's not far fetched. Here me out
World's
tallest
fastest
longest
multi launch
Stand up coaster.
They already announced it through that guy.Genuinely stunned at how little the park cares for Zumanjaro that it's completely out of this press release LOL. Unless something has suddenly, drastically changed in the plans for 2026 Zumanjaro is also done.

…have you not see the plot for giga coasters? Fury’s plot is HUGE. Same for Leviathan and Orion. Even Pantherian’s plot is pretty big, though smaller than most. Millennium Force is SPRAWLING. The only small one is Red Force and that’s because it’s just an LSM dragster.Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but I don't see a new attraction taking up all of that land. I think it's more probable that Green Lantern's plot is replaced by another ride separate from this project later down the line.
Was the lawsuit between Vekoma and B&M over patent infringement resolved? I don't think there will be another surf coaster until that happens.Make it "Surf Coaster" and it's not far fetched.
Yet all of those are small compared to the possible area opened by all these ride removals. You might be able to fit MF and F325 inside the plot of land just opened.…have you not see the plot for giga coasters? Fury’s plot is HUGE. Same for Leviathan and Orion. I really don’t think that will ultimately have much of a difference. They still have to organize and coordinate with Intamin. Both those rides are pre-merger projects in six flags parks.
If this ends up being the replacement, it'll be the biggest disappointment in theme park history in my opinion. Nobody is going to get anything out of this ride and it'd be an extremely dumb replacement for Ka.Remember this survey from the summer for GADV? It seemed weird in hindsight, but now I realize it was no accident. THIS is the Ka replacement. Not anything else. “Multi-world-record-breaking?” World tallest spinning coaster, worlds fastest spinning coaster, worlds first upside-down launch. And its still a strata, so it’s will be fine enough for gp probably. IDK how it could be anything else.
The only copium I have is that the ride won’t be a shuttle, and the coaster will have an extended layout after the tower as a full circuit, maybe through the green lantern plot. If that is the case, this could legit be a worlds best coaster. If this ends up being the replacement, it'll be the biggest disappointment in theme park history in my opinion. It looks like they're going with that same layout as shown in the photos sadly, I can't seem to picture them doing anything else. It's truly going to be a disaster if they go through with it, and I don't see myself ever visiting the park again if it happens. I understand if you’re disappointed, but it should be a fun ride at least and cool to still have a strata. And although it could be disappointing rn, you as a SFGADV local should feel lucky, because at least from what I am sensing, you guys are gonna be the “kings island/carowinds” of this merger in the sense of the amount of pure improvement the park got after the paramount purchase. You’re in a major metro area. You guys are gonna be set for a while. It looks like they're going with that same layout as shown in the photos sadly, I can't seem to picture them doing anything else. I don't think the ride will be bad, I just don't think it's the replacement Ka deserves. As for not visiting the park anymore, it's true, alot of the rides have become boring to me due to having been on them so much. Ka was the exception and was what kept me coming back again and again. Maybe the new ride will be good, but I can't imagine it being something that people are actually going to be willing to travel for. It will probably be similar to the polar coaster, as I do NOT expect them to build a ride with a 400ft drop that has spinning trains.I understand if you’re disappointed, but it should be a fun ride at least and cool to still have a strata. I think it was more a sense people always thought it’d be thereWhere were y'all when people were ragging on KK being too rough and gimmicky?
Like literally a few months ago people were still saying the ride is rough and not as good as TTD. They've been saying that since the ride opened.
KK isn't even the best launch coaster in Jersey and its definitely not the best coaster on that side of the park (I don't even consider it to be top 5 in the state). I think whatever replaces it has potential to be that. If its a spinning coaster, well Ride to Happiness is a stellar top 10 coaster and if its a 400 ft version of that, I'd be down to ride as many times as I can. If its gonna be a 400 ft blitz, that would be incredible. Even a big dipper or striker coaster would be incredible for that plot of land. I'd reserve my judgement for when the park makes an announcement.
I've been a valiant Ka defender for it's entire lifespan. It might not have been as good as Dragster (I've been on both) but for what it is, it's really intense and always brings about a huge rush. Everyone loves the ride and it's a staple for anyone living in the NYC/Philly metro area, enthusiast or not.Where were y'all when people were ragging on KK being too rough and gimmicky?
