There was a video out recently that suggested a lighthouse theme for the new coaster. That would be cool. While we can only speculate, I definitely believe there will be a comprehensive boardwalk retheme to go along with the new coaster.
An entire boardwalk makeover is definitely what’s happening I feel like. The new coaster, a drop tower, ragin cajun and some other flats from SFA, and whatever else was on that survey (I think some kind of family coaster and kids area) are all probably going to be added to the boardwalk section to give it the makeover it desperately needs.

FWIW, looks like pics taken by someone working on-site.

This was a nice update! Nothing we didn't already know, but I'm still interested in what that cap behind the rumored transfer track is for. I hate to put this theory out there, but maybe there's not going to be a dual station and it's just a normal main circuit-maintenance transfer track. This cap lines up with the launch track, so it's possible we only see one station here. It's still interesting that this is the only sqaure cap on the entire ride and has two anchor connections on it. Idk, it's all just hearsay but I'm really hoping there's two stations, a turntable, just something to improve capacity.

On a lighter note, I love how in that one picture of the first launch/transfer caps you can see those 4 massive anchor bolt cages for the tower footings in the background. Picture definitely doesn't do the size of those things justice though.

I.. think that's the first time we're seeing this? That's quite the development actually- it definitively means that there's some track behind the sliding track (presumably station). My first thought is a small backward spike, either for a swing-launched first launch, or to act as a brake spike. I think it's time someone gets a drone in the air (legally!) and get a new view on that station area...

(For comparison, Star Trek has a small double-connection support like that on each end of its transfer table, as well)

Not many footers left to be poured. Shipments soon?

In one of the shots you can see a massive circular pier cap form sitting in the dumpster; tells me they probably completed the cap for the first tower footing! I think this was one of the last caps left, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the only ones left currently (aside from the other three tower footings they haven’t started yet) are the ones noted in the video around the transfer/station area.

Considering SFMM recently received their ride parts, I’d hope ours are not too far behind 🙏

At the ACE event the guy said the ride wouldn’t be announced until everything was “locked down” according to someone else here. They probably haven’t paid for it, and the reason for that is likely a combination of tariffs/the company losing money
This. The reason for the delay to 2027 is likely the uncertainty with the tariffs and affected shipping costs and prices. When the bill falls back to within the budget (+ X% more they're willing to incur to get it done under the circumstances), they'll hit the bid. But no one can predict these unique market forces, so they made 2026 a total wash to give themselves a wider window for possible order/shipping and took the PR hit. If the rates improve sooner, a mid to late-2026 debut is certainly doable.

let me guess, its a mack rides project (and now that travis kelce invested in six flags, maybe six flags can be bullish on the project now)

let me guess, its a mack rides project or New Jersey is being stingy
The ride construction so far indicates Mack, yes. State regs don't seem to be a factor so far. We're all watching for possible FAA waiver action, permitting applications, and import shipments for signs when this thing'll be close to the steel shipping and ride assembly.

Just for the record, you don't pour footers for a ride you're not fully financially committed to. I'm confident that no one posting in this thread thus far is a park financing expert—and neither am I—but I assure you that the budgets have already long been set and the contracts with those numbers have already long been signed.

Thank you, @Zachary .

I was going to say, do we really think they broke ground, poured footers, and started on infrastructure for a ride that they told the manufacturer "actually, I'll come back in a year!!!" ?

Isn’t it more likely that they’re imported already and awaiting for tariff clarity to receive them to mitigate the financial impact?

Possible but I'd think not. It would be the best-case scenario. The order is almost certainly in, and it may be it's been paid for already. I think it more likely the ride hasn't been manufactured yet. The downstream effect of steel tariffs and the impact on the supply chain worldwide probably affected Mack's own manufacturing process in terms of order execution and delivery times based on getting the materials, so it might not have been made yet but is in the queue for execution very soon. The tariffs have so many ripple effects that it's not just a matter of waiting on a break to ship an order. The order itself is affected. Now, maybe CF got the order in and paid for at a locked-in price before the tariffs re-started at this level at the start of 2025. If only we could be that lucky. It's also possible they didn't, or Mack had to renegotiate when they had to absorb the growing impact of tariffs, too, and both sides of the order are waiting the situation out as long as they can. It could be a difference of over $10m.

There are a couple of digsafe tickets for storm sewer installation and underground conduit installation. Sunrise Unlimited is the contractor excavating all of the footers for the new coaster. There is also another digsafe ticket for an emergency water main repair/replacement by another contractor.

I forgot about all the electrical systems that’ll need to be installed in order to power this ride. Due to that alone it’ll probably be another several months at minimum until we hear anything regarding track shipments
