ok, double post but didnt an since disgraced user who used to be on this forum wanted an simulator ride that would been to themed to going back through Busch gardens history, like you’re sent through time traveling and crashed into the old country (most likely taking place in Ireland) and that same user also pitched that Ireland should have the line for the Killarney attraction become a museum of Busch gardens memorabilia and pieces of old coasters, rides, and shows
I lowk love that idea but i feel like it fits better in Banbury than Ireland

I don't think BGW wants anything that will remind guests that they once had decent quality standards.

wow, you come all the way here just to make a pro ai comment?

No it has nothing to do with being pro AI or anti AI. It’s just a fact.

I'm in the throes of my monthly BGW obsession period, just measured the show buildings for Project 2027 and some other dark rides on Google Earth. Apologies if this experiment has already been done.

Phantom Theater - King's Island: Uses about double the 2027 building
Haunted Mansion - WDW: About 4x the size of the 2027 building
Danse Macabre - Efteling: Would fit perfectly in the 2027 building
Maus Au Chocolat - Phantasialand (Toy Story Midway Mania Style with Only 1 track): About 1.5x the 2027 building

I was expecting/hoping for a tracked dark ride but now I'm not sure it would work unless they did multiple floors. And even if they did, I'm not sure the ride would be very substantial. I'd rather they save a tracked dark ride for a Black Forest expansion by BBW. My new unrealistic hope is an Intamin Dynamic Motion Stage, which if done well with an ancient celtic theme could be one of the best dark rides/flats outside of Disney/Universal in the country.

I expect those in the know know more than we know they know, I'd love to know what they know soon, if you know what I mean.

I have always thought a dark ride by BBW would be the best option, but I always hoped they would totally repurpose the former simulator building and have a suspended dark ride like Sea World Orlando that is two floors. Although, like every other ride, looks like tariffs have put a hold on this particular attraction.

Danse Macabre with a Celtic theme would become an instant must ride and quite possibly the best in the park. I am not kidding when I say that ride is a top 5 dark ride I’ve ever done.

It really does look incredible. What are your other top 5 dark rides?

At the risk of derailing the thread, in no particular order it goes Tower of Terror, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Rise of the Resistance, and Flight of Passage. Worth noting I have yet to visit epic universe.

Anyways, I’m excited for BGW to get a proper accessible, dry dark ride to complement Pompeii

If anyone’s Top 5 dark rides list doesn’t look like this, I don’t want to hear it:
  1. Living with the Land
  2. Living with the Land
  3. Living with the Land
  4. Living with the Land
  5. Living with the Land
