I wouldn’t read into it too much, personally. It’s the only ride at the park that has outright closed for annual maintenance that isn’t a water ride, and most of the rides do maintenance by taking a train for annual. That I find much more likely than them stopping annual. Also possible it got pushed back because of the holidays.
 
I think Journey to Atlantis is more likely to be replaced in that part of the park.
I’m not sure that’s the case. Just by trends of constant maintenance, putting some money into renewing effects, and the fact that it had the concept art of refreshing it in the future leads me to believe it should be safe for a least a little while. You never know, SEAS seemingly always finds disappointing ways to do many things.
