Bang! Kind of always thought that was gonna be the choice based on the teaser banner. Can't wait to see the layout! Lagoon may be the largest park in the country I haven't been to yet and this will seriously be calling me out there!

Yeah, I’ll absolutely be making a trip to Lagoon in the next year or two. I can probably miss out on a B&M without being too upset, but I’ve been dying to get a Hot Racer in the states.
Lagoon is such an interesting and fascinating collection of coasters.

Announcement should be in four hours or so. Really interested to see the layout, 50 feet isn't very tall.
If that layout rides as good as it looks it might be the best new coaster of 2027. Whoa.
Seems like the track style in the animation is what the coaster will actually look like.
Hot Racers have always been fake single-rails if you ask me. I like that this new track design does away with the silly, inefficient, impractical visual pageantry. What actually makes the Hot Racer an interesting product and a Raptor competitor is its narrow track and single-file seating. Almost feels like we need a classification for coasters with in-line seating more than we need one for single-rails.
Agreed. I feel like the appeal is that it can be compact and perform tighter maneuvers because of the single file train design. From what I undersrand the original RMC raptors sort of rip themselves apart. They probably need a beefier track tbh
The only true single rail coasters are suspended. It's all a gimmick. I feel tandem is a better term for these types. I will grant that the RMC product does appear much closer to a single rail than Intamin's farce.
Structure of the rail is ultimately irrelevant beyond what kinds of vehicle or elements you can put on it. It's silly to call it single rail but the narrow gauge design of these models is a neat feature.
