I hope everyone has been digging into the website more! I am curious of your thoughts on this, but want to hear what you guys think. It sounds like we will be traveling through Boulder Canyon, from the Tin smith to the Saloon! There is a boil advisory (water bubbling), bear sighting, Holidog involved in some capacity (missing ducks), watermelon seed contest, donut company, town gazebo? If this was a water coaster how much time would be spent in the air on the tracks versus in the actual town. I know the theming will be top notch because Holiday World knocked it out of the park with Good Gravy/Stuffing Springs! There seems to be a town rivalry between Stuffy Springs and Boulder Canyon. I am not sure a water coaster alone with do justice for the theming, but a rocking boat from Mack seems to be a better fit for the theming. The cost for a Mack Rocking boat is steep. I think deep down I really want it to be a rocking boat, but I am not holding my breath if it isn’t. We are also talking about the water coaster capital of the world, and it would make sense to add to the title. A water coaster of sorts? 37 days straight, fastest multilaunch water coaster? They will do a great job regardless, but the anticipation is making me crazy!

They've released an article about the upcoming ride!

Here are some interesting details:
this is shaping up to be our largest single-attraction investment in park history
Is it another Raging Rapids?
No, it is not.
But… Raging Rapids ran through Boulder Canyon, so the two rides will always have a special connection.
There’s lots of chatter on the internet about what it is. Has anyone guessed it correctly?
A stopped clock is right twice a day, and some enthusiasts have guessed it. And most are way off.
Are there any misdirects?
What fun would it be if we didn’t fan the barbecue flames a little?

Double posting just to say that this layout, this theme (a fleet of unique boats themed to pool floats?!), AND ESPECIALLY THE DOUBLE ENTENDRE NAME (!!!) are all 💯. Ultra clever way to capture the 4th of July theme. A Mack water coaster is what I think most all of us were expecting (and it is a great fit for this park), but the layout, presentation, vibe, and branding all look damn near perfect from the tiny bits we've seen so far. Great showing from Holiday World once again!

I’m at the point in my life and this hobby where I’m not gonna go out of my way for regional parks and coasters that aren’t on the east coast or otherwise close to where I am. I’d rather spend my money on like Universal, Herschend, or going overseas when I can. Holiday World is one of the exceptions. I gotta get out there.

Multiple train designs is a gimmick that costs a lot and has no real added value or ROI. That being said it’s awesome and every park should do it
How, exactly, does painting different cars in different color schemes "cost a lot"?

Costs a lot *relative to the benefits from a purely financial standpoint. Though if it’s just paint like it is here’s probably not bad. Still proof that this park cares about small details and the like
FWIW it’s look like these might just be simple vinyl wraps on each RV.
