Well since this park just got Good Gravy it might be sometime before we hear about another Coaster coming to Holiday World. But what would you think would be an amazing addition to the park?

If you ask me. Because this park is known for its Wooden Coasters. An ArieForce One style RMC I-Box would be a perfect fit for this park.

As for Splashin Safari. I wouldn’t mind if they tore down Jungle Racer and replaced it with a more modern esque complex with a ProSlide RallyRacer and like a FreeFall & trapdoor SuperLoop slide

I haven't heard anything negative from Worlds of Fun recently, so I think one of these new-gen GCI Infinity Flyer coasters would be a really interesting add. A proper modern woodie, with some new-era ejector airtime and maybe an inversion or two, I think would be a hit.

Or a big steel airtime machine- like a B&M Hyper or an Intamin Mega like Kondaa (I will not stop advocating for one of these in the US until it happens🤣).

You’d be more likely to see an Intamin Mega at a Six Flags or SeaWorld park tbh.

Isn't voyage a modern woodie? But also, I have heard rather mixed things about Zambezi. The trains can be ball crushing, that spiral hill is a maintenance nightmare (not that Holiday World would likely bother with the spiral lift) and there's some vibrating on some sections despite being such a new coaster.

St. Patrick’s Day anyone?

Don't get your hopes up for any prototype Maurer ride coming to any North American park. Since Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit opened 15 years ago only 3 of their coasters have been installed on the continent and they've all been one small model (the SC 2000 Spinning Coaster).

Hershey had a fun time with Maurer because of all the weird rules Maurer imposes with their rides, like full retraining every 2 months.

Is there a reason why they do this?

It seems a bit excessive.

I don't know why we should believe this guy (isn't this the guy who made that ultra cringe Kumba thread the other week?), but I can say that something is happening at the old rapids site at Holiday World. Thus far it has still been demolition and remediation, but, presumably, it is building to something eventually. It's one I've been watching very closely.

There is also this from him. He sounds pretty certain that this is a coaster

So I guess we’ll see. If they’re being pretty secretive. I think it’s gonna be something big

Cool, so that guy literally talked to the Dippin' Dots lady and then declared "COASTER CONFIRMED."

Does he not even realize he's looking at the rapids site...? 🤦‍♂️

So yeah, back here in reality, the rapids demolition and remediation process is ongoing. That's what we know so far.
