Hearing though several reliable sources that the parks isn’t planning just one thing, not two but five or six “mini” projects. Though the next year or so. These include upgrading infrastructure. A new main gift shop, adding metal roofs to steel eels and great whites stations. Adding theming to several attractions and rebuilding the former Shamu express coaster near the beluga stadium.

I think those sound all like great changes, this park really could use some quality of life upgrades among all the good additions the past few years.

One thing I really would love to see, is just a better plaza once you are inside of SeaWorld. Maybe a nice fountain with the logo once inside of SeaWorld for photos. It feels like the initial plaza is so grand and then once you are inside the park, it lacks atmosphere.

The issue with the park stems from when it was built, they thought they were at the peak of the game. So they made this massive park, intentionally left chunks of land available for future development, Busch quickly and lazily added attractions left and right basically with no care or thought about the Texas heat or theming. They ripped out cypress gardens just a few years after it was built for the water park. Even looking back a photos and videos this park didn’t get any of the love and care Tampa, Orlando, and Williamsburg got. They’ve basically spent the last 2 decades trying to fix a fundamentally broken park.
