Okay, it IS a rotation of voice lines before dropping now. Confirmed on my second ride, and just in case I was going crazy I asked an awesome team member who said it’s now a rotation between 2 audio tracks.

I can’t remember word for word what the other audio spiel is, but it’s MUCH more ominous. My fiancé said Frau Hexel said something along the lines of “I told you I wasn’t going to save you but I have to save the car!” in a much darker tone.

The stupid 5 stars line is still in rotation, but I actually like it a lot more now knowing it’s not every single time. Busch listened. Some people liked it, some didn’t. They added another more dark themed audio queue while keeping the funny one and honestly… I dig it!!

Also, they turned the audio up a good chunk after you drop. Much, much better execution now.

Thanks again for listening BGW. Seriously.

Someone else will need to get exactly what is said on the new spiel. I think I have it generally correct though. One funny spiel, one more dark spiel.

I really like that line! Hopefully there are more to come. This is an area where quantity can sorta make up for quality in my opinion. If they had like ten different lines, most people would never remember hearing the same one twice. Even if they're not all bangers, I'd be 100% onboard—totally agree that the 5 stars audio, for instance, works great if you hear it every once in a while vs every cycle.

That’s awesome. There’s something I really like about the uncertainty of whether you’ll get the funny line or the darker line. Sort of feeds into the sense of ambiguity you get in the queue of whether Frau Hexel is just an eccentric old lady or a malevolent witch.

Alternatively, it’s Schrödinger’s Frau. Frau Hexel is both good and evil until you go into the forest to see for yourself.

I personally didn't mind the "5 stars" line, but I'm glad that BGW is considering other different lines for Frau Hexel in rotation so that riders don't get the same thing twice. Almost kind of how the old Verbolten did the three alternate show scenes before the drop.

Ok y'all, bear with me. There was a complete update of the show tonight. I got to ride with the show programers and they're absolute GOATS! These are some of the updates I can remember:

Frau Hexel now has 4 different lines she says. The "Five Stars" line is still in rotation, but it's a lot less frequent now.

The lightning effect AFTER the drop track while you're exiting the building has been removed.

The lighting of the angry tree has been tweaked a little bit.

The car in the tree after the mid course drop honks at you now, SO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW ITS THERE 😁!

Wow! The fact that the park is taking some of the criticisms people had with the new Verbolten and still improving upon it shows that the people in charge truly cares. Now can we get the station to be repainted to that nice brown that was there in the concept art? That would make me happy, other than figuring out what to do with the supposed fog effect entering the show building (I can take it or leave it honestly doesn't matter to me either way).

The park is working on that. The previous food effect burned out and they're working on getting a replacement and making sure that doesn't happen again.

My biggest show complaints with this ride were probably to do with the lighting around the drop track scene, especially the strobes in the tunnel afterward. You can see the structures so clearly, the glowing eyes are obviously light panels on posts. So changes in this respect are very welcome.

I'm not too mad about the 5 stars joke like everyone else seems to be but rotating dialog is always cool and it's cool to hear some of is is darker.

Not bad. Just cut the music and the “go back to the garage” I think it will be perfect. Also what are the other two speeches Frau Hexel says?
