Project 2026: Verbolten: Forbidden Turn

Randomly walking through Oktoberfest and saw that the control room doors at Verbolten are open. Doesn't seem to be anything new here but this is a photo of the video feed inside.

BGW's advertising billboard on 95 North has been changed over to Forbidden turn.
The newest BGW video on Instagram shows the station animatronic, it looks phenomenal.

They said in the post that more details were coming next week. I think we'll know when we'll be riding very soon!
Has anyone seen the cars yet? Been wondering if they will repaint them.
They don't appear to have been based on what can be seen of them in the bays.

This response seems to indicate an opening no later than the 21st of June.
With all this work being done, I think a late-May opening may be possible and I couldn't be more excited!
Hope it’s May 22, that would be ideal. Wonder when next week they’ll announce it.
Very exciting to see a 2026 project actually close to getting an opening date. Feels like everything else is still in limbo and I've been holding back making travel plans because of it.

Almost everything has a rattle/vibration. Apollos, griffon, alpen, BBW all rattle your teeth. It happens.
