4 to 5 months for this? I was thinking way less lol 4 to 5 months for what they seem to be doing seems like alot to me.
To install several new giant set pieces, completely renovate the queue, install and program two animatronics, program lights/audio and then do reach testing with all of this feels like a lot to do in 4-5 months

I don’t think they’re going to repaint the track. Over the last couple of years Verbolten has gotten essentially a full repaint.

Verbolten isint being repainted, the queue from what I thought wasnt staying 90% the same. Just a slight refresh. All of it is pre drawn and all. The set pieces id assume have been pre made months ago somewhere and they will just slide them in and stuff. Like designing haunt facades ect. Animatronics can be set up and tested mostly before install on site id imagine. Syncing to the ride itself maybe not? But it's 2026 and syncing stuff to rides is nothing new at all.

Well, the station at least has been 100% gutted inside. Down to the bare walls and air gates. Not too sure about the queue itself.

Well yes, but this is permanent so it needs to be a bit more than that. Gutting the current effects, bringing a floor-to-ceiling giant tree into an existing building, positioning around the track, painting, etc.

Especially with regional park-level animatronics, true. But rerouting power to allow for it, installing lighting, bolting it down, all that stuff still takes at least a month.

And again, reach testing takes like 3 weeks at least before they can open. Again just kinda surprising how quick they're moving

Do we know if the dispatch/return audio is going to change? I'm guessing it will, but that's the thing I'm most sad about. It was honestly one of my favorite aspects of the original ride, corny as they were. I'll miss the iconic "Auf Wiedersehen!" and "Don't look back as you brave the Black Forest", if they're gone. I can literally quote all her lines by memory.

I’ve been scared about this too. I hope if the voice does change, that the lines are kept the same.

I hope someone tells these folks that most rocks are not red and fix that paint underneath the car.

Also, THEME said car, make it look wicked again.

Looking forward to riding it since my last trip in 2019. 🫠
I really would thing the rocks and stuff will be cleaned before opening but why even do that to begin with. It takes 10min max to drape that off lmao After seeing all the blue tempesto paint drips all over the decking board though doesn't suprise me
