Somebody told me that Intamin themselves sent a Cease & Desist to parks to stop operating the straddle coasters and that an issue was found on one of the rides that turned out to be endemic to all the models and each of them need fixing.
Until the issue is resolved or a modification plan happens. At the moment, I'm not sure of any plan. All of this model should be closed indefinitely.Dose anyone have an idea about how long that will take?
I want to bring this up again, as the ones that have been closed are tire driven versions, and not LSM versions. Maybe ride hardware is an issue? Both Hagrids and Zokkon both are listed by their respective parks as open/operating.As far as I know the only straddles that are open are Hagrids and Zokkon. Both are LSM launched versions as opposed to all the others being tire driven, so I wonder if it’s only affecting the tire driven variants.

Wow, you're right. WTF... Maybe they still need another permit to open? Or an issue with a part? It's really odd because I've literally seen it testing frequently.quantum has been.. completely scrubbed from the website it seems? its redirecting to a 404 page now trying to go to the webpage for the ride
Damn, this sucks. Intamin strikes again. If the rumors I've heard re: the possible timeline for a fix are correct, I wouldn't be surprised to see Six Flags push Quantum to 2026. I hope it's not necessary, but I've heard some pretty pessimistic estimates...
Say we're talking about another three weeks of delay or so—in that situation it is probably just correct for Six Flags to push it back a year at that point...![]()
