If they're building this in Steel Eel's infield, I'll be very impressed. I thought that's what the description may have meant when I first read it, but I disregarded it because it seemed a bit adventurous-sounding. Far more interested in this project if it's going here-ish (or even crossing over/under Steel Eel):

I’m conflicted if that would be the case. Drill piers are for the foundation below the ground, not the supports of the coaster itself.

Then again SWSA lies above Austin Chalk which is very strong and wouldn’t necessarily require drill piers. So the article could be referring to external concrete support blocks, and just mixed up there verbiage.

The rumor mill is saying that the station will be where the construction fences are currently. At some point it will go over the pathway and go closer to the lake. It will spend some time where the current Bar is, then head back to the station. If this is the case, it will be really interesting to see how it interacts with Steel Eels drop.

That line is from the article posted but I don’t know if it means it’s above the water. Also due to its proximity to penguin encounter it is possible it might be incorporating or replacing that? As it is near the same age and design as San Diego’s that is closing

It says “drilled concrete piers” not “concrete piers” it’s a type of deep foundation for underneath the ground.

They have started clearing land in the fenced area. There is a fence infront of the Disassembly Haunt entrance so hopefully that is being saved for future HOS. I can’t imagine a B&M fitting the current construction area. There has to be more…

Why is there so much space for this? I looked at Phoenix rising and big bad wolf and it looks like it doesn't require much land.

We’ll have to see when ride parts start showing up on site, but that color makes the most sense for SeaWorld

Which is funny because way earlier in the year Clermont was producing another blue B&M family invert, which has since been delivered to Legoland Shenzhen though. That track's a different shade of blue though, so we can rule this as a new project as opposed to stragglers for Shenzhen;
