News Project 2025: Vekoma Tilt Coaster [Canceled]

Yeah, I am pretty sure the 2025 announcements are done, so I updated the thread to 2026.
Six Flags Mexico announced DCeased last night and it looks like Boomerang will become Batgirl. I can't tell if DCeased is a maze or a reskin of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.

With projects like this that run into local resistance, it may just be relocated to another park-- just like SFM got their hypercoaster from SFWoA when that park had issues.

If they can’t get the local government to approve new stuff it’s doubtful unless they’re removing stuff.

If I were Six Flags, I wouldn’t invest a dime in a property that the local government seems determined to prevent from growing and succeeding. Maybe the local government has good reasons that I don’t know about, but from a business standpoint, this place seems hopeless for new investment at the moment.
