What are the chances that the splash battle is the old one from Six Flags Great America?
Non existent. We had pretty good coverage in the media kit of it being fabricated at Mack Rides last Fall.

Came here to say though that I love that this single 14-passenger train coaster is going to have Fast Lane. The one here in Canada is a phenomenal kid's coaster but has zero ability to handle large-park crowds. Still gets slammed beyond belief despite being located in the dead end of dead ends. Good luck Carowinds!

Wow, the new feature is a family attraction and if your family doesn’t have kids, f you. Glad I didn’t drive down today. Would have been nice to advertise that for the past 9 months or so. Things keep getting better and better under the nasty six flags banner.

I’ll be going Tuesday if the weather clears up regardless, but I’m definitely disappointed about this. Haven’t been on a family launch yet and was looking forward to it.

River Raft is testing, looks like the only thing they have left to complete is the queue line.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it opens this week for the July 4th weekend, would be the only water ride on a hot, crowded day.

Had the opportunity to ride it today, it honestly might be my favorite flat ride in the park. You get soaked, but it’s mostly your upper body so you don’t have to worry about wet socks/pants like other water rides. It’s also very well-themed, great addition to the park! I’m glad we finally have a water ride again.
too bad we have to replace rapids for it (I do like to see a new rapids ride)
