Issues = Lap bars not staying locked when they are locked. Train is showing all restraints are locked and can be sent. Pull on the lap bars and it slowly came up. The solenoids were failing on that blue train way more than I wish to say - we saw some scaryyyy stuff on opening year.

Then they got it running, and then it stalled on track. Had our dumbasses standing in front of Juke Box like “nothing to see here!” During park hours. Ahhhh the good times

Edit: These occurrences were during operations with people on the ride. This is why the double check became a thing and is still a thing.

I also think Rapterra will have a better opening year than Twisted. I really do. Marketing has done an excellent job in my opinion of creating a sense of hype while keeping the public engaged throughout the year. Social media posts, media displays in the park, and construction updates have been great. That’s without factoring how different the ride looks alongside its beautiful and excellent placement. BIG people pleaser IMO

Don't forget the morning test cycle with a tool bag in it. I called you guys up about that one cause I saw it going flying on the first bunny hill LOL.

Might be worth noting. B&M doesn't usually do pull through testing. You can see a silver metal train template in the storage shed that'll be used instead. Sometimes they'll use a PVC template to use for the riders arm reach envelope. Intamin will usually do pull through with the first 2 cars with an arm reach envelope attached, but I don't think I've witnessed B&M doing anything with the physical train. Most they'll do is maybe do a pull through around the brake runs/station/ launch. But not the entire course.

Unrelated but I wanted to say I really like your videos.
Thanks! I really appreciate that!!!

That makes sense! I don’t think they even have a crane big enough on site now.

When Twisted Timbers opened they had media day in the AM and then Pass members preview for the season in the evening. KD coasters have normally opened to the public with the park.
You sure about that? I went on passholder preview day for TT, and could swear I got to ride it first thing in the morning.
