It's crazy that it's 10/25 and the topic of Rapterra's construction has basically been exhausted. It's wild that to the average park-goer, this ride looks totally complete. The paint job/retheme of P-305 is a much more interesting topic at this point. I'm just ready to ride; I'm so glad that our Mid-Atlantic parks have such a short offseason.

However, I'm very interested in the park's next construction update; it should be super in the nerdy coaster weeds!

Yeah we've reached the phase of construction where we're just waiting on opening day now pretty much. Hurry up March! Trying to ride a shiny new wing coaster!
No, there is still the testing phase to look forward to. We might not see to much of it, as it will hopefully be commissioned for opening day; but we should get some testing updates from the park in the off season from the park. (As well as limited shots from someone with a good zoom lens.)

I for one am really excited to see the theming and landscaping begin to take shape. I’m optimistic that this project will be like Tumbili and will ultimately have even more theming than what was shown in the announcement media. And Rapterra, with its winding queue and huge ride area, also has a lot of opportunities for the landscaping to shine.

How does opening day fir a coaster like this work? I been out of the loop for many years for something like this. Do they have their media day like a week before opening day and then later on that media day, then season passholders can early ride it?

When Twisted Timbers opened they had media day in the AM and then Pass members preview for the season in the evening. KD coasters have normally opened to the public with the park.

So will the media/passmember day draw a shorter line than official day? Or will both probably be 3+hrs

Whoa whoa whoa! It’s a roller coaster with normal capacity opening not DarKoaster!

Pass member day for Timbers saw the line out the queue and past the gift shop by early event night. As the last major new coaster that is probably the best measuring example.
