I'm expecting significant theming and landscaping if track work is almost done. I don't know what else they'd work on between now and next Spring

I'm not sure if Adena is responsible for the grouting of every concrete footer on the coaster. I assume the concrete contractor will be involved with that. In any case, that has to be done.

Other contractors would be involved in the following:

Station/Queue Line build.

Electrical equipment for the LSM 's and general power for the site (Station, queue line, coaster) installed. I would think the electrical mains would already be available to the coaster site with Volcano being there previously.

Coaster Operating/Safety system installed.

The physical air brakes on the transfer table track and in the Station area will need to be connected to the air lines.

Still, this is first time a major coaster install timeline has been this far ahead (2 Months) at KD since the full park opened in 1975.

Course, whatever theming elements are going to be installed and vegetation that needs to be planted will be completed. Not sure if that would need a 2 month head start. Maybe KD has other Jungle X area work to be done and wanted the coaster done early so they can focus on other stuff during the main off season.

Do we know if all footers have been poured and, especially, the concrete cured long enough to hold the weight of the upcoming installation of the supports/track? Only reason I ask is that, the concrete footers for the supports/track coming out of the airtime hill, heart-roll and final turn into the brake run, were only poured in the last 2-3 weeks. Not being a structural engineer, not sure about concrete curing times.
28 days to fully cure, but 90% is in the first day or two. No idea if they have to wait the full time as the footers would not be under full stress as they would just have the dead load and not the live load of the train running.

Forgot to post this one yesterday! This pic gives another look at what Angelo was mentioning
Oh no I’m not Angelo😂 its just a screenshot of his post on instagram but I encourage you guys to check him out he has some pretty good content.

What a great day. Beautiful weather, two train ops on everything, short lines, Taters was open and Rapterra looking gorgeous. Between the proximity to the midway, the old volcano station and the supports, there are a ton of near misses! More excited every time I see this ride

I do think this crew will be installing Holzfaller as well, but I think the biggest factor is the fabrication schedule from Clermont. They’re finishing up Rapterra now (which is probably already done), they’re also producing a family invert for China, and will eventually get to Holzfaller too.

Clermont is having an easy production season. Their busiest year was 1999 where they fabricated track and supports for 9 B&Ms with no delays. Rapterra should be done by now so Holzfaller should be popping up soon.
