Isn't the old skyride station unused? It might make a good small venue. Of course, I'd love to put a couple of theaters similar to Dorney's Center Stage in the park. And some seating in front of the Eiffel Tower would be nice!!

I imagine that we will see a small potable stage setup like the park use to have over by Anaconda and Back Lot
I thought that they just keep the haunt house left up in there - but it's all the way over at the corners of PS/CAG/JX, and would probably need some kind of overhaul to able to use it as a theater.
If I were to stick a show for JX anywhere, I'd build something into the odd dead spaces at the corner of the pathway where it separates between headed towards Tumbili and towards Anaconda so there's plenty of space for people to watch while not blocking the path yet also highly visible. They've had this approach for several shows, which adds to the energy in each section of the park when they're playing.
Is this a good time to resurrect this post? However, it is a little out place compared to location of the games booth they just tore down. Unless they plan on moving the seating area in front of Backlot to where the the former game booth was at.

That’s right. I forgot they took out that games building and indicated something would replace it.

Correct. The old HB skyride station still stands. The structure was re-configured first to a kids climb and play area. Then was partially enclosed for Haunt Attractions. Has not been used for anything for the last 3-4 years.
The CAG station was torn down in the mid to late 1990's. That station sat where the ferris wheel is now.
On Instagram KD is being wishy-washy about the opening date not only of Tumbili, but of the Jungle X-Pedition section of the park:
All they will say is "Spring", and not March 12th. I'm expecting it won't be ready on opening day. Hopefully it won't be too much past that, though.

Not sure. But worth noting that this is a significantly earlier opening date than last year. In my calendar I have the passholder preview day as having been on May 16. I'm pretty sure opening day was the following weekend.
yeah, kd opened late last year. may 16th for passholders and the 22nd for official. kd typically opens the last weekend of march
Would be a bummer if Tumbili is opening later. KD opened Twisted Timbers by opening day and has possessed Tumbili for almost 2 years but I mean whatever we can just distract ourselves with the new intamin down the street or the intamin and RMC in the same park.
Could just be that they aren’t 100% sure whether Tumbili will open yet so they worded it that way to avoid promising something they end up realizing they can’t deliver.
That's what I meant. They are being wishy washy. Not to deceive, just that they just are not sure it will be ready. I think if you go on preview day (is there one this year?) or opening day, maybe prepare for a bit of disappointment. Better to do that than to go in expecting it to be ready.
There could also be some gamesmanship around how to schedule the Tumbili opening given Pantheon. They probably can't beat Pantheon because BGW is going to hold a really early media day. Plus they don't want to open it directly next to Pantheon's official opening probably? It's a difficult position.
