I know, I just wanted to state that my opinion would have been the same without the knowledge from KDFans.
I assume they didn’t want to put too much emphasis on the replacement, since right now they want to focus their marketing on their 2020 additions and on driving 2020 season pass sales. They probably mainly wanted that video to be a PSA that Crypt won’t be open this year, and just threw that teaser in at the end to appease fans and let them know something is on the horizon.
To be frank, the Six Flags model had some issues in its design that led to the cars having an uncanny ability to saddle in the slightest gust of wind.
I imagine since it's been a few years since the SF clones have been doled out S&S had made some improvements to the design. I want to give them that benefit of the doubt.
If I am being honest if we didn't just lose Volcano I would be ecstatic as I think the free spin will definitely be a fun little coaster to ride some days and I think it will compliment the parks lineup of attractions quite well. It's just unfortunate about the empty plot of land it will be right next to......
Ah. Why have I not seen this? I am obviously not very observant....
But, it was still on the site plan, so it's not going away, it would seem. So same difference.
This (as far as I'm aware) should just bee seen as a Crypt replacement. That other plot of land will be taken care of eventually.
Like many of you have said I think this is a nice crypt replacement. That thing dug into the top of my shoulders something awful. Hopefully it gives them some time to plan a worthy volcano replacement.

It’s almost like this thing isn’t meant to compete with BGW’s giga? Keep in mind this is replacing a SMALL FLAT, and that BGW and KD have never opened major coasters in the same year before. IMO the whole argument that this thing is going to get crushed by BGW’s 2021 project is BS, because it’s comparing apples and oranges. It’s like saying in 2012, “Can you imagine Windseeker going up against BGW’s $50 million coaster?”
Management should be made aware about the policies before anyone gets trained on the ride but if there's no discernable changes in the ride vehicles for this thing compared to the older models I hope they enforce the max height restriction. Don't want riders kicking each other, or the track, while on the ride.

As for your question, no actual blueprints yet, just the internal leaks I’ve seen and can’t share. We expect some more public filings soon though—we’ll definitely get our hands on them ASAP to share with everyone!
If it is going to be an S&S 4D, and if it'll be an off the shelf clone, nothing about it will really stand out besides the work KD will be doing around the ride for pathways, queues, and utilities.
