I have to say my favorite moment of yesterday was when Suzy said it had 4 launches and I definitely heard several people in the crowd go SEVEN.
Like the time I was working at the park, asked the crowd how tall Apollo was and @Zachary shouts "170!" Still salty 11 years later as he ruined my trick question lol

The votes best new coaster in 2020 was pretty good too. Seriously though, Suzy and Kevin have had what 3 years to prepare their opening day speeches but they had to read them word for word. At least the girl knew her lines…..well except for counting 1,2,3……when it was planned 3,2,1.

I'd prefer that they don't spend much time practicing speeches for all event no one cares about to be honest.

Picture from Thursday night. That was a great time and I got a few rides in. Went Friday afternoon and the weather was nice and the line was fairly short. Not many people at the park on Friday.

Does any other coaster in Virginia close for winds? I feel like I’ve never rolled up to KD or BGW and they’re like “yo it’s windy like Griffon can’t fall in the wind.” I always see the KD towers down for wind, I can’t imagine wind is any sort of threat to closing Intimidator 305?
