Yesterday when it was closed according to the weather channel app it was 13mph winds. Right now it shows 11mph increasing to 13 around 2pm before tapering of between 6-7pm. Looks like today is shaping up to be just like yesterday. If this is the case…..this ride will
never be open because winds are almost always in the 11-13 mph range with very few no wind days in the summer.
Yep it definitely won't be open today this is just s figment of my imagination. Also that might be the highest I have seen it on the spike

I know these days were “VIP” and special, but if the ride is closed 2/3 days for the event… SHOULDNT they offer some kind of “make up”???

I never said it wouldnt be open today….someone who I assume is there said it was down due to wind, I looked in the weather channel app and provided the current and projected winds and added what I observed yesterday and what the weather channel was reporting at current winds then.

BGW needs to really figure out what the restraint issues are with Pantheon. I have had almost 20 rides with no fit issue but yet just got bounced for it not fitting. I know that each restraint isn't going to be identical but I am seeing way to many reports of others having similar experiences to just write it off. To be clear I don't blame the opps safety is always Paramount and they were respectful and professional in handling the situation but for this to appear to be a chronic issue is definitely eye raising.

So your ride really was a “figment of your imagination”……….lol

I had a similar experience to @horsesboy's the other weekend. I've ridden Pantheon over and over again with zero issues at all until randomly one cycle where they made me walk FROM THE SAME SEAT I HAD LITERALLY JUST RIDDEN IN ON THE PREVIOUS CYCLE.

Mach Tower has inconsistent sensors, but this feels like a more systemic restraint problem than just inconsistent sensor placement. This seems especially true given all the reports we've been hearing about Pantheon trains being pulled for restraint sensor issues. At this point I'm comfortable recommending that people try a different row if they get booted for restraint clearance.

You see the tool maintenance uses to test the sensors haven’t you? It’s literally a stick of wood. There’s two of the with diffrent length on a giant key ring. They also have a smaller black one that usually sits on top of a box behind the oops tower.

Part of my issue is that the ride ops keep telling people there is not difference and wouldn't even entertain the request to let me try the empty seat infront of me saying that they are all identical.

It was open at 10:15, first train had e stop due to switch not getting into place, and those riders were walked off. They then reopened the queue around 11:20, after cycling several trains, but in the station they said it was currently down for wind. After about 10 minutes, the ride finally opened for consecutive rides.

Note that the skyride had been testing at park open, but it is not running Winds have started picking up in the past 20 minutes or so, so I am sure Pantheon will be going down yet again.

At least I got 1 back row ride in before noon, but 1 ride when I expected about 10 given crowd size early this morning definitely sucks!

I was on the train in front of that one in the back row, and it definitely felt like we were that high. It was amazing!

Yes, that’s what the forcast shows till about 6-7pm which is the same as last night. It opened at 7:35 last night and stayed open till park close. Todays problem
is park closes at 7pm.

Serious question for those that have ridden multiple times in front and back row. I didn’t feel a huge difference in the two seats or the center of the train with the exception of the view on the spike. To compare VC there is a huge difference because of the speed over the top hat. Pantheon goes over so slow both seats felt pretty similar to me? Is it just me or is anyone else feeling the same things? I really expected a whip over the top in the back row but didn’t really feel it.

At this rate, they should pull a permit and turn this into an enclosed dark ride! It would also address the theming issues if they did that. :)
