I've heard the 33mph gusts number thrown around a lot for Pantheon and it seems to check out. If you're going on a day with predicted gusts in that vicinity, be prepared for spotty operations. Each somewhat windy day during previews has been a bit of a disaster.
If wind was the only problem, that would be understood. But looking at this thread and observing ops in person, there have been a fair number of non-wind stoppages as well. Hopefully those get resolved and this doesn't turn into another tempermental Intamin ride like Hagrid.

Intamin isn't known for building super reliable rides when they open - depending on how innovative, I usually give them a season or two to get it dialed in.

In this case, while technically they've had far longer, reality is that it appears there's a huge difference between a few water dummy cycles and days of real people cycling.

My kids were in the front row of the first train…we were waiting in line right behind them. We thought we could get a few rides in before heading back home (3 hours), now we’re waiting in line. Again.

Yesterday when it was closed according to the weather channel app it was 13mph winds. Right now it shows 11mph increasing to 13 around 2pm before tapering of between 6-7pm. Looks like today is shaping up to be just like yesterday. If this is the case…..this ride will
never be open because winds are almost always in the 11-13 mph range with very few no wind days in the summer.

The wind is a concern because it might valley between the tophat and outerbank, right?

Just increase the launch speed ;)
SEAS won't do that. They are going to operate this like the little ole granny driving her new 1994 Oldsmobile 55 mph in the right lane on 64.

Highest wind gust within x amount of time is what keeps shutting Pantheon down—not sustained winds. I'm not saying the ride's low wind gust tolerance isn't a problem (it is a problem)—I just want to make sure people know what to be worried about.
