Just realized the park closes at 9(thought it was 8) I’d assume pantheon will stay open til 9?
Can't really blame them on the theming. They've had so little time to throw it togetherStill not sure what to think / make of this ride...
1.) I had "only" moderate expectations overall for this ride for the last few years.
2.) After reading some reviews over the past week, my expectations rose a bit.
3.) I rode today around 5:30pm. Back row, left seat.
4.) It was good, it was fun, and I do think it is a great addition to the park.
5.) It just wasn't great for me. I needed a little more. As a coaster enthusiast, I was just wanting a little more.
6.) The pro's - Good pacing (from the start), first inversion is fun, reverse launch, spike
7.) The con's - Theming / queue, little "banks" heading to the switch track, first launch up top hat, stall inversion (so-so), top hat (so-so), outward banked turn
8.) I guess part of me is searching for more thrill, and I can only hope that comes with wearing in / temperatures.
9.) I also want to ride this thing a few more times, various spots, and at night.
I am thankful for this coaster, but I am not sure it breaks my top 10. I might even prefer a "prime" Apollo's Chariot.
Again, great addition to the park, but I think I wanted just a BIT more... and that might come in the next few months... maybe?
THANK YOU!! I was so tired of those idiotic signs that the "Italy" bridge is closed. The Italy bridge was the ONLY way to get to Festa while the San Marco bridge was shut off AND the train wasn't running yet!!!Agreed that the presentation of the ride is abysmal and the park should be embarrassed about phoning it in so hard, but anyone moaning about the ride's length or intensity needs a reality check in my opinion. It's incredibly hard to take anyone seriously who uses "it's not as good as Velocicoaster" (a top 10 ride in the world, probably) as a knock against Pantheon.
Anyway, a few photos from the recently reopened San Marco bridge and railway:

Aren't we all? We drove hr and half each way on the 4th to ride once, shiver back to the car, pick up some sauce as Pierce's (we were dangerously low) and back home. Yet, between the ride and sauce stock-up, totally worth it!!from what I have heard, pantheon is more temperamental in colder temps.
I heard that it was running the fastest it’s ever been yesterday
yep, just ran some test runs and it’s still down, I’m at the park right nowUpdate, we left the park and got back about 3:30 and Pantheon was down “due to inclement weather”……talk to a team
member and it had been down a while because of high wind. It’s now a few minutes after 5pm and it’s still down.
