A total of 1 train with people before it went down.
Is that the hold up? The temp?Have hope!! It’ll warm up.I’m in line, too.
6 hours total of driving time today for this thing. Hope it’s worth it.![]()
Glad I skipped the park today and went Friday instead.… and back up again…
In my experience, they usually sit just out of sight in their UTV's ready for the call. Having maintenance in the booth during all hours doesn't display confidence to unsure guests. Gives the appearance that the ride is unreliable (regardless if it is or not) to the GP who doesn't know any better.I have said ot before all new Intamins should be required to have a maintenance team stationed at tge Station for at least the first month.
Can confirm. The guy was there on the scene about 2 mins after the shut down.In my experience, they usually sit just out of sight in their UTV's ready for the call.
Curious to see how this change works out, especially for those who previously RSVP'd for either Saturday or Sunday and want to also take advantage of attending a day (or two) earlier. Once booked, RSVP's could not be changed, so will the kiosks be updated to allow members to redeem their vouchers a day (or two) earlier? I had tried to print my voucher when I was at the park this past Friday in order to save time this coming weekend, and the kiosk told me it could only be printed on the day my reservation is set for, which in my case is Sun 3/20.Just got the below update (note the change in RED) on next weekend's VIP event, which I already RSVP'd for...

Ride system isn't everything..... Also, everybody isn't an enthusiast.I guarantee you nobody cares about a free spin more than an Intamin multi launch
Exactly.... and when you add in the theme of Tumbili it really looks a lot more impressive than Pantheon to an average park guest. Pantheon really struggles from a theme perspective -- especially when it's in a park where everything seems to be well themed..... To an average person it might look like they don't think much of it.I get a lot more "WHOA" reactions from non-thoosie friends on S&S Free Spins than you'd realize honestly. Certainly more than Pantheon has received. Average park goers don't give a rats ass about "backwards launching ejector airtime."
This post made me think, I miss those days of not knowing what's coming on a coaster.I rode Pantheon with several different groups of people I met in line last Friday night. The 3rd group were of the 'had no idea what was going to happen' camp and were definitely surprised based on the comments and amount of screaming I witnessed.
"I don't think we're going to make it!"
"It goes backwards?????”
"Omg! We're upsidedown!"
They seemed to be pretty impressed when it was over! Had me rolling in my seat while they discussed it when we were waiting to get back to the station
There was also an adorable elementary school aged boy that I shared some coaster facts with that went on and on about the ride going backwards and how the launches worked once I explained it. The adults seemed impressed too and asked a few follow up questions.
I have no idea what people think of Tumbili cuz no one knows what I'm taking about when I mention it![]()
