One last thought on the camera it appears to be aimed at the turn coming off the drop and heading up to the over bank.

I was going to ask this. It seems like the obvious/typical place to put one... But there were so many other opportunities for a good shot; like a photo on the outward bank after the drop would be cool; or the inverted airtime hill.

I can't tell for sure but the angle looks like the turn after the drop but it'shard to tell for sure from the train. Possibly the drop it's self is to fast and steep as some speculated.

I mean the way I see it this week would have been the perfect opportunity if they were going to do. I would have been a great kick off to Summer Nights and more importantly I have a sneaky suspicion that Zachary was out of town at Coaster Con meaning that wouldn't have had to deal with him.

Well isn’t there the inspections in 2 days, and then the last final one hasn’t been scheduled yet?

There is I wasn't trying to imply that they WERE ready to open it and chose not to just that it would have been the perfect opportunity.

Hopefully they don’t dilly dally daily, definitively delaying the delivering for our delightful distraction.

I think we can all agree that the only thing that will lead BGW to open Pantheon is if every ParkFans member simultaneously leaves town for an extended period.

But we are all SEAS lackies and buy what ever they tell us.

I only leave town covertly now. I've become too paranoid.

Maybe Kenny Rogers Roasters will open again before pantheon
I like KR Roasters!

As far as Pantheon, I think they will continue to "finish" the attraction but at no big rush. That way when they open it in three seasons.....remember there is 4 seasons in a year and Summer just started....its ready for whenever they wish they would just need the yearly insection.

The way Thursday played out sure didn't seem like "no big rush". We had more movement in a single day than the previous 18 months.

I don't have the exact count but it was something like 16 inspections hit the system, 5 were closed out same day and they closed out some permits related to the same.

How many of those inspections were the same inspector…..could it be that it was easier to get all the people together in one day to knock them
out than randomly doing one inspection at a time over a couple week period? Remember BGW is slightly different than a typical job site. Most job sites inspectors can drive up and within a couple steps get to where the inspections need to occurre. BGW they have to travel past security and through a operating theme park to get to the Pantheon site. There’s other things as well in a inspections at a site like this that will require some of the contractors or general to be onsite for the inspection. I wouldn’t read into anything.

There is also a fee for repeat visits but I am not sure how that works in regards to doing multiple inspections at one time.

Depends on certifications of the inspector.

The way crowds have picked up (IF they can deal with staffing issues), it crossed my mind that Pantheon could end up being the "grand finale" to Summer nights OR maybe even fill that TBA slot in the middle. Can only wait and hope 😁
