The old thread title was "Project 2021: Pantheon" but it's becoming more and more clear that that title was potentially misleading as per our confidence level regarding when it will actually open.

The struck through 2020 and the (?) after the 2021 hopefully gets the point across a little better that it was supposed to be 2020, it become 2021, but now we're uncertain about the likelihood of that too.

Removed from the app map and I have heard guest saying that it has been removed from printed maps but haven't been this week to confirm that.
Man. The worst part about this is they’re being so effing sneaky about it. They might have economists telling them when to open it but they’ve go no one in the PR department apparently.

The map from on the website is very weird right now as the little icons such as restrooms, and the legend for them, as well as dining, are all gone. Not true for BGT's map, though it doesn't show Gwazi either. Don't know what that means, maybe they lost the old files or maybe it will change again.

Didn't they already go through this change a few weeks ago and back?

I don't think it necessarily means anything yet, for all we know they had issues with their printer and had to revert to a stock of the other printed maps and decided to make their digital maps similar to avoid confusion.

So I kindly asked on BGWs Facebook about Pantheon as one of their post was speaking about becoming a member. No joke - less than 2 hours later, the post was deleted. Not just my comment but the entire thread.

Here’s the deal - SEAS stock has never been much higher than it is today and many of their C-level executives have extensive stock options in their compensation that can’t be exercised here soon - I’m pretty sure the executives will eat this over inflated stock price and leverage upcoming attractions to benefit themselves.

I understand their reasoning, but they are trying to have it both ways. If they are going to delay they need to be clear and announce that. The longer they wait to say something the greater the chances they lose another lawsuit with their members. This time it will be over falsely advertising to increase sales. I know it's tough to prove, but they are literally doing the same thing at every park, hard to defend that none of them could have effectively opened a new attraction.

Shot in the dark but this still gives time for 4th…. I know I know back in the theory corner

I was thinking the same thing, but if they dont schedule that one inspection zachary was talking about very soon, that could screw things up

I'm just wondering why the heck it's taking them so darn long to do these inspections when other parks were able to get there's down relatively quick and get there rides open. Yet here it's taking months. Can someone enlighten me on that?

Because they’re not really trying to open it now. See the last 50 pages as to why.

A lot of cities don’t have the inspectors... Norfolk is doing face time inspections now for electrical permits... probably slow getting an inspection.

Some Pantheon updates. One while I think it's fireworks related there is a series of cones between the swing launch and the annimal area. Two ALL of the water dummies have been removed from both trains. Three there was much debate on if that camera was a ride photo camera or something else. The camera appears to be the same model that is on Invadr so I can only conclude that it is for ride photos.

I think that with alot of the last inspections being scheduled, plus the dummies being removed from both trains, pantheon still has a VERY slight chance of a 2021 opening. VERY slight

One last thought on the camera it appears to be aimed at the turn coming off the drop and heading up to the over bank.
