I guess beating Universal to the punch is worth having a barren shack of a station for this season. But next season, I won't let it slide.

The dummies are off of one of the trains wonder if that means we are getting close to human testing. It's cycling pretty much non stop as soon as one train hits the break run the station train goes.

The sign is on a lift and not mounted right now. There is more signage and themeing on a trailer but it's backed up to the bridge so I don't have a shot of it.

2 weeks from today, anyone wanna bet?

Thats good. that probably means they are starting to feel confident enough to test real people. very good news

lil sneak peek of what i got today (only got to catch 7-8 cycles on camera before lunch break but saw 10-15 in total, had to leave around 1 but i’ll be back later this week ?) View attachment 22842
side note this high speed turn looks absolutely like a grey/blackout moment

You think it’ll be park employees in civvies, or intamin people
Normally you see employees from the manufacturer team ride first, then likely senior park employees and after that front line employees in or out if uniform and finally maybe a secret soft opening for guests before the actual official first ride.

First are the programmers. They ride for a while dialing in the launches and brake runs off of feel. Often, the park and manufacturer higher-ups will get excited and insist on riding it during this time. It's still not technically the final product as brakes, launches, and lift engagements may not be very smooth. Once the programmer is happy, its then turned over to the park. Usually they will run the ride for many days with water dummies while the ride ops train and break in the trains. After that it's usually a day or two of designated ride time for employees. Often, supervisors and other ops from the area will sneak on a ride, but its not anything official. I would say about 3-4 weeks from the first spotted human rider should be opening day, provided the park is ready to open it.
