Was gonna say, not knowing much about panels it seems awfully large to only have that few buttons on it.
Yeah, with few exceptions, most of the panels I design only have an estop, reset, and a disconnect switch on it. Maybe an HMI if the operator is usually nearby.

Doesn’t Alpie have a panel like the one on Pantheon in it’s station?

I haven't been on Alpie since they did the system upgrades so I'm not sure if it's still there (I don't see why it wouldn't). But the panel for the transfer table is at the back of the unload station near where the operator stands.

Definitely not temporary, those usually don't look so put together (literally a box with toggle switches). I would guess that they have a lot more inside than they needed buttons outside. Maybe a combo ops/maintenance panel for Launch 1? Haven't been to the site, so I don't know what all is visible from that spot.

EDIT: having reviewed the poto again, that is definitely the maintenance panel for the maintenance track switch.

I guess it's an Intamin thing or the kind of controls being used (Siemens?). You can see in the left of the photo the giant transfer control panel on Cheetah Hunt.

I do wonder why BGW decided to switch to this style for Pantheon. Their other rides use Allen Bradley.

Alpie most likely still has that panel. It's there because operators used to move trains, but weren't allowed in the restricted area. Busch changed that policy to only maintenance (with a few exceptions) to remove/add ride vehicles before Apollo (which the panel is on the transfer track).

As to the controls, Busch uses a mixture of manufacturers for controls. A lot of rides use Siemens, a lot use AB. The park is used to both so either is likely to be used on Pantheon. In my opinion, AB is much nicer to use, but then again, I work for an AB System Integrator... anyways, Flume and Mach use Siemens, while most of the coasters use AB. That is only due to Consign (another AB SI) doing the controls for the B&M's and Invadr. They can always use Siemens controllers with AB buttons and vice versa.

Breaking news there is action in the maintenance bay with the train still valleyed and it appears that there are water dummies loaded on train two. Two train opps???????????
