I think the videos that you saw was them doing a "recovery" launch. If the train stops on launch 1, they will launch the train backwards (towards the station) and then it will slowly roll forward to get a "running start" for launch 1. When the train is dispatched from the station- it will enter launch 1 much faster.

This shot from @matthewcsoup shows a dispatch from station.

And this shot is a "recovery launch" (or at least that's how I define it)

Correct. Copperhead Strike does the same thing on its second launch.

I shoot with a Z6 and an assortment of lenses I've collected over the years. If you're genuinely interested in my work (and not just weirdly trying to one-up me or something) I have a portfolio where you can see my stuff.

If anyone's going to be at the park this week, please keep us updated on testing frequency if there's anything going on. Would love to get to the park again to get photos, but don't think it's worth the trip if they're still only cycling every 30-40 minutes.
nah man i’m chillin over here with my sony ? just was interested, the quality of your stuff is very high so i was wondering, keep it up ?

This thing looks so good that I don’t care about the station anymore, I just wanna ride it.

Man, can't wait to ride this. If it winds up being even half as fun as say Maverick at Cedar Point is, we could have a real winner on our hands, IMO.

I forgot to mention that the train in maintenance has b&m type dummies. Not the blue ones in the train that is being tested.

It's not like that train is doing anything. Might as well just use the blue method for now...

Has the train actually done a full circuit, station to station, in one shot, in any of this testing? Or has it always been the first part, stop, then the 2nd part?

They stop it at launch 2. The switch isn't programmed yet however the 1st launch is fully programmed

Technically, it is a misnomer in my opinion. We're seeing partial tests in which the ride eventually completes a circuit, not actual full circuit tests.
I would rather say that they are full circuit tests, but they aren't fully automatic. The switch technically is programmed (else the couldn't get it to move without ratchet straps or hoists), but they aren't running it in automatic control yet.

While going to check on Alpie I found an angle that I don't think anyone has tried yet hoping it will make another pass soon.

Also does that look like a trim break?
