Assuming that this testing is a good thing and shows Pantheon is working as intended, could we see a June opening?
I get that we don’t actually know when it will open. I get that. I am just asking, based on similar ish coasters, when we first saw “full” testing, to when opening was, to get a ballpark. I get BGW and Covid=funky. I’m just trying to ascertain what a regular schedule would be outside of thatKeep in mind that we're not actually seeing full cycles yet. We're seeing the train sent through the first half, stop for a while on the swing launch, and then resume movement from there. It's all a natural part of the process, but that context is important to understand the work that remains.
And yes, it COULD open in June, but it COULD also open in May—maybe even the end of April if they rushed—or it could open this Fall or 2022—anyone claiming to be able to predict is overplaying their hand. Pantheon will open when BGW decides they want to open it.
Well, looking at the weather for the next while, it should be good work weather outside of next Thursday and Friday when it’ll be cold.I legitimately believe that if they decided they wanted to soft open before the end of April, it probably wouldn't be impossible for them to get there if they really started grinding on it.
By the end of May would be totally realistic based on the current progress if they were working at a more normal pace. At this pace though? Who knows. Things on the site are moving very slowly. I think it's impossible to really point to any parallel to generate an estimate.

Based on what a maintenance employee told me a few weeks ago on weather and testing. That they need pretty close to optimal condition (the description that he gave me was dry 50s-80s) to get a decent baseline calibration for the programming. reading between the lines I interpreted that to mean that once it is calibrated for ideal condition the software can auto adjust for temp and rain.Don’t they need to test in cold weather too?
Well damn that was fast.
