I am wondering if there are any construction delays right now due to lack of updates? Track seems to be missing the last few pieces, station area work needs to be done, trains not onsite yet.... I feel Kings Island and Hershey are further along with their construction schedule than Busch..

Do you think that they are on schedule to open Pantheon until Memorial Day?

We don't know any of the above to be true because the park is closed and none of us have been onsite in the past few weeks.

Well Orion is opening with KI in April and they had to try to finish it ASAP because they get a lot of snow. Hershey isn't opening until summer because that's when the rest of the area that Candymonium is in will be finished. So they just have been working to get it ready.

Like @Jahrules said we have no way of knowing what the progress looks like right now. There section of tech that wasn'tt installed is the transition from launch to top hat. This was because they needed some access to the rest of the site still. My guess is that when the time comes to install it all be very quick process. As far as I've heard the park is still planning on a mid April opening at the latest.

And unlike other parks (Hershey for instance), its hard to get a good look at the park up close when its closed.

I feel like if anything they should be ahead of schedule, we have had amazing weather so far this winter. I’m sure they planned in a number of days for bad weather and so far they haven’t needed them.

From what I was told the track is now complete. The station and maintenance area still have tons of work that need to be done. No idea of if the trains were on site but kind of doubt that. That was all from a person that been close to the site and showed me pictures that backnit up.

Things like the queue there is plenty of time to build. There has been many rides that they were still working on the day the ride opened and even days later. It’s the track and ride vehicles that are important and take the time. They need to be fully installed and tested and for things like the launches adjusted.

Is there any chance they snuck the trains in directly to the jobsite instead of putting them in staging in the employee lot? I know that's how we learned about a lot of the past attractions' train arrivals: they let the trains sit in the lot for a few weeks before moving them to the jobsite. I feel like there is no reason to not put them on yet. As we know from Iron Gwazi, there is no reason not to put the trains on and even start some testing before the track is complete.

They've been staging everything at WCUSA for Pantheon so there's no way of knowing if the trains have arrived yet or not

I'd guess if they snuck them in, they're have done so after the maintenance track/shed was built. Though with a 2 train operation, does Pantheon even have a maintenance track? I don't remember seeing one...

Yes it leads to the maintenance shed. It will probably run just a single train occasionally

It's worth noting that a new shipment just came in from Intamin a couple days ago.

Ok, now how the hell did you get that? No... Wait... I know... "Sources".

Anyways, that's saying that the weight is over 6 tons, so that very well could be a train. I don't know of anything that is that heavy that is not already on site. Are there any other containers for Intamin?

Shipping info is public record.

Second, and presumably third; because why would the spend another shipment sending the backup train?

Although a different train all together, the Kings Island marketing guy wrote last year that each car of "The Beast" weighs 2,300lbs- train 13,800. I'd hazard a guess that these cars are lighter.

Adding on - It was estimated each car on Formula Rossa is about 1400lbs and total train about 8820lbs.

I know @Thomas , just hazarding a guess from Boomer Central.
