Why would they? It's not their ride and likely by then attempting to fix it they'll probably open up another can of worms.

Back to Pantheon, does anyone know if they're adding theming elements?

Probably just some props in the queue and station but don’t except anything immersive. Think Invadr.

You’re probably setting yourself up for disappointment if you think this will be themed as well as InvadR. We have no evidence to suggest there will be anything Iike InvadR’s village walls, battering ram, etc. My expectations are set at Finnegan’s Flyer or Tempesto levels.

Of all the rides to not get theme elements ?

To be fair, Apollo is essentially unthemed and Griffon’s theming is minimal. The days of BGW’s biggest, most expensive coasters looking like Loch Ness Monster or Big Bad Wolf are long gone. I sorta get it too. Major coasters are much better at providing iconic and memorable visible features than smaller attractions are. Theming a small coaster like InvadR really well gives the public an iconography to latch onto that the ride doesn’t automatically provide itself.

Generally speaking, I wouldn't be so quick to claim that major coaster theming is long gone. Using Hagrid's as an example, I think there is evidence of the general public having a desire to have theming, at least when it comes to IPs.

If the "story coaster" style starts to take off more, I don't think it's out of the question that smaller parks installing their own sort of story coasters.

But you're right in that Pantheon is not a story coaster and probably won't get extensive theming.

But I could totally see something like Pompeii someday being replaced with a sort of story coaster which still tells the story of Pompeii but has more extreme elements.

I kinda doubt BGW has the budget for two new coasters and extensive theming.

I was thinking that and how story rides tend to be very expensive up front and to continue operating, so I doubt it becomes a widespread trend. But a multimillion dollar attraction and little spent on theme design hurts.

Huh? Invadr isn’t themed well at all. It’s one statue and a few station props.

It's pretty sad that we have to consider Invadr as the standard of BGW theming. But I agree, we're not going to see much.

Totally disagree. It has a village wall encircling its entra plaza, a watchtower, a huge battering ram at its entrance, its own distinct soundtrack, two uniquely themed trains to help convey its story, decorations at the end of the ride to reveal the conclusion to said story, etc. It’s not Verbolten (read: a huge mistake in thematic overreach that I can’t fathom BGW ever repeating), but it’s far superior to most of BGW’s other major attractions (thematically). We’d be lucky to have InvadR’s theming repeated ever again for a BGW coaster.
