So, I hesitated posting this, but I decided to go ahead.

I've heard from multiple unverifiable sources that I have, that BGW would love to have Pantheon open for opening weekend.

My first thought to this is, "... But how will ops get certified before opening weekend with no human riders with which to get certified?"

It's complete speculation... But...

How awesome would it be, if, at the membership preview town hall; Kevin ends his speech with a "how would you all like to ride Pantheon right now?" And thus soft-open the ride.

This timeline would require the ride ops to get their early certs done well in advance of open and first riders (park employees) in late Feb/early March.

But, I think it is conceivable.

When I just put my hands up, relax and submit to RMCs, that's when they feel amazing.

My mind is far too in the gutter for statements like this ??

Anyways, I do agree that know which manufacturers you need to “holy shit” grab handlers and which ones you just need to go “dead body” on really changes ride experience IMO.

Totally a random point but it was fun seeing several of you the other day at the park since it was the last day of the season...it's the most fun game of where's waldo / who's waldo haha!

So, on this point, last month they updated the rewards.

Now, it says "first to ride Pantheon." For every membership level above basic.

With the exception of Platinum which still gets its mysterious "with exclusive access."

Honestly, if I were BGW and this thing was going to be ready by preview day, I'd open it exclusively to platinum on preview weekend and setup an "upgrade your pass" booth right at the entrance. Think of all of the platinum upgrades!

Indeed. I still stand by my 'membership preview soft open' idea. But maybe it'll just be for platinum.

If you are being forcibly thrown then you have the restraint to worry about. That is my point. I think of Twisted Timbers and how in the back seat I find it uncomfortable on my legs.
If it's the force of negative G's itself you're not a fan of, then you're probably out of luck with Pantheon's outer bank. However, I can almost guarantee it will be more of a gradual "ejection", rather than the super fast pops that's on most of Twisted Timbers. I don't personally have a problem with the restraints on TT, but the ones on Pantheon are infinitely more comfortable.

Im gonna guess plat gets the qq line and others get normal line during soft open/preview. The vagueness seems intentional.

Alternatively they could have it so plat gets extended hours during soft open for a day or two.

From what I understand this is the current plan. It's not being advertised because it's still too soon to know if there will be a delay. The park is however doing everything in their power to open it with the park. At the very least they want it open before Spring Break.

Given past delays on various projects, I would also get this open asap fro the new year!

While I appreciate the attempt, as a person with a mathematical degree, the Pythagorean theorem only has tertiary value as a part of calculating the vectors of acceleration relative to g-force.

Newton did a lot more work in areas relevant to forces on coasters.

Sorry nerded out a bit.
