I feel like the missing support thing happens on occasion from various manufacturers - could it be one of those things where it gets installed like that as a safety net for the manufacturer?

Thinking that even with a given company's experience and engineering to ensure a proper ride experience, they added connections for more supports in case more need to be added or they need to switch the force load to another point of the structure?

That support was built and installed before the track went in, so they must have taken it down. It is a reality of construction that not all pieces are perfect or work perfectly, but they still have engineering and manufacturing capability to correct the part.

Remember when Tempesto had part of the non-inverting loop removed and then put back in place? It's normal

I do partially wonder if the fit is fine but to get something into that area they had to remove the support for the time being. Anyone able to snap a pic of the ground around the support to see if maybe it was just placed there?

It's almost like they invented a new element. That seems less an outward bank airtime and more of a reverse wall stall.

I dub thee an outward banked wall stall airtime hill.

Keep in mind everyone, Griffon had to have the track at the bottom of the drop replaced because it was just a tad off. The ride still opened in May (soft opened on the 18th I believe).
