Every electromagnetic motor has a stator, it doesn't matter if it is a linear or rotary motor ;)
Technically, they are stators, but since the actual stator (the bare copper inside the white plastic casing) is not exposed, I don't see any reason they cannot be called launch fins.

This version of the video pisses me off.

The first upload to YouTube was from a guy who gave credit to the original, gave details about the original (who posted it etc) and just wanted to save the video from DMCA takedown.

This guy embedded his logo over it and is hawking merch. No reference to the original; just taking all credit for himself.

Effing loser.

Please delete the video from the post. It doesn't deserve to get views from this site.

Wouldn't it be stators?

I would think launch fins is a perfectly acceptable way of describing them since that's what they do (yes, I'm aware that many stators may also be used for braking) and what they look like.
So perfectly acceptable, in fact, that ride suppliers themselves often call them fins.

?

I know it's not complete, but I'm not sure they will redo the railings. Maybe they will be covered though.

I don't think we have any reason to believe that there have been substantive changes since these plans were drafted.

Really hoping for some solid theming. BGW has a history of using concrete as their main theming item. I.e. Tempesto and InvadR.
