Not visible in this video is that there is a new "decorative" looking trench like the big pit, possibly for a water feature, in front of launch 1.
That's a serious supply of pipe on site. Is it for piles, utilities or what? Looks too small for drainage pipes.
Was at BG this past week and saw the pit you mentioned, most likely a typical water detention basin similar to the small amount of work completed near FF in Ireland, possible it could be used as a "feature", but not as the main purpose of the pit
God I hope they place some trees and some theming objects back there, how boring would just an open field be (unless they somehow can locate animal enclosures under the ride).
At least they left that one clump of trees! I'm sure they will plant more. Verbolten is finally looking better! Things take some time.

@Thomas posted some of the leaked landscape plans and it appears there will be plantings after the footers/track is completed.
So that's what happened to that old Neptune statue/fountain. Maybe the spike is gonna be one big ass trident.
