Everything is possible.

This is trite and false.

They can’t. It wouldn’t fit at all with the layout or the station (or any proportions).

Not to mention that piles are in the ground for foundations, construction is long since contracted, plans with the county are finalized, track and supports are almost certainly already produced, etc.

What you see in the leaked plans is essentially what you're getting. That's just how it is.

So I'm sure they just threw the Garden of the gods line in there to sound dramatic but I live the previously mentioned idea of a Festa retheme to become just that. The cool thing would be the options that such a theme would give you. Keep it all Roman? Switch to Greek? Go with a mixture of Greco Roman gods and goddesses? You could use the same architecture for both. Retheme Tempesto like mentioned above and add some more columns and statues. It'd be a cheap and easy way to freshen up a whole section.

I'd also really like to see them play up the Roman Centurion idea. Have shields and banners from the legions around. The only problem with great Roman theming on this ride would be how it'd only make Tempesto seem even more out of place.

On a completely different note, I'm sorta hoping that they add a brake ahead of the first launch in the triple.

I just really like launches from standstill (just like they did with cheetah hunt).

That defeats the whole purpose of the quick switch track...to maintain momentum and continuous flow. I can't imagine going from the first launch out of the station thru the tight helix behind San Marco and then stop...

If they are doing a brake before a launch then it would be the very first launch. As GrandpaD said it defeats the whole purpose of the quick switch track if it stops in the triple launch section.

I guess I read that as the first launch from the station as it's planned to hit one there before the switch track element/launches.

That first launch out of the station is not that far (if the plans are accurate). It's just a downhill rollout similar (but shorter) than Verbolten. Wouldn't make sense to full stop as it's not rolling that fast to begin with.

A full stop also increases cycle time, reducing capacity on a large thrill ride.

It may not sound like much, but if one were to stand in the (I anticipate) formidable queue for MMXX and watch the train spend a rather lengthy moment or three at a full stop for absolutely no reason during every. single. cycle... it would suddenly become obvious in a rather visceral way that the time adds up.

Maybe. Or maybe the line will remain somewhat long, even after the first-season megacrush subsides. As long as we’re speculating, maybe — maybe — a one-two punch of big rides in consecutive years will increase overall crowd sizes, contributing to average line length over an extended time. Or maybe not.

Regardless, I’d rather not see cycle and wait times for a major attraction become unnecessarily inflated due to the addition of a feature most people aren’t clamoring for and likely wouldn’t miss. Those cycle times contribute extra time to the queue, even when lines are only moderately long. That’s all I’m saying.

They're not pushing for capacity with MMXX like they've done with previous projects. Which is fine because the other rides in the park rarely run with all units and rarely hit their full capacity targets. A ride like this will be a lot more consistent in reaching its capacity targets compared to a ride like Alpengeist or Verbolten.
